Secret War Journal[12 May 2014]
I just visited my maternal grandparents recently. It had been a long time since I visited them and I think it really shows when they made a phone call during my lunch. My grandfather asked how I was doing now. Though his intention was good, I immediately felt guilty. I had been caught in my personal affairs that I had neglected taking time off to visit them. (Come on, we all know saying we do not have time is just an excuse)

Being a person easily guilt-tripped, I set aside time to meet up with them. Granted, I did not have time to arrange for my sister to join me (she was in the midst of an examination too) so it could be said that it was a hasty meet-up.

I really enjoyed dinner with them. As I grew older, my love for home cooked food just keeps growing hahas. I feel that it is increasingly difficult to enjoy food personally prepared by your love ones. That is why I really appreciate it when people prepares a meal. :)

Finally, my grandfather showed me something that is older than me. A company magazine from my mother's company. Here is an article covering my parents' marriage!

After reading it, it kinda overwhelmed me with emotions.

Sometimes, I wonder if the older generations is having a better time than us now... One will never know.

I am sorry for making you worry. I should be the one making the effort, not you. I am ashamed.

Secret War Journal[21 January 2012]

Morning rites

Today, I went to pay respects to my grandfather and my mother. So much had happened since the last time I came to see them. It has been only a month since; I had so much to say, so much to tell. Yet, when I came before them, I feel as though I have not enough time. Wanting to make good use of my time there, I was almost at a loss of word. I feel so useless then. Why can’t I say what I want to say in that short time?
I realized now, I was trying to say three sentences at the same time. My mind still could not sustain three threads of thoughts for such a long time.
Such a fool I was.

"Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out." - Anton Chekhov

Broken strings

I guess I had no time to mop around over my inability to say what I wanted. I just have to hope they are hearing my thoughts whenever it is directed at them, no matter where I am.
I have a tight schedule today but I didn’t tell people that. (Now you know. Aren’t it a bit late for that? Haha)
I went to the temple with my family, I left alone. Next destination – Sengkang Community Centre.
--
I received news that for today’s event, Johnston and Keller would not be able to join us. I can understand, Chinese New Year is round the corner, preparations had to be made. Nevertheless, I feel bad to call upon Meldon to organize such nature of outing when there are so few of us who can make it. After all, I am partly, if not mainly, responsible for the existence of the outing.
The original plan was to play kites and board games the whole day. I would be joining them in the afternoon but I had thought with 4 players, it would be enough to entertain each other until I arrive. But with 2 backing out, playing kite seems rather meaningless and it is difficult to play challenging games with only 2 players. You would need a minimum of three players.
By the time I arrived, I sensed that they were a bit exhausted though they commented that I look exhausted too (Tired from life or work, I wonder). Despite that, we managed to play a good round of Settlers, Munchkins and Monopoly Deal. At the end of the day, what’s important is that we had fun. :)
I guess, after all this, it was the way it was meant to be. It is better this way too; it is more comfortable talking Japanese-related stuff with them than any other people. It did help to put at ease, talking about such cheerful things. :)
In a blink of an eye, it was evening already. As we were about to leave, it started to rain. We decided to wait for the rain to subside by playing a few more rounds of board games, only to be rewarded with a heavy shower.
Since Meldon had pressing matters, he is volunteering :), we decided to run in the rain to reach the train station. I think we really had quite a bit fun doing that. Personally, it reminds me of my primary school days. Such innocence we had then. Hahas!

CNY Goodies!

Seeing them off at the train station, it is now time for the next thing I decided to attend to. It is time to pay a visit to my cousin’s house. My aunt had prepared goodies for Chinese New Year for my family! Thank you!
I feel bad that I am visiting my aunt’s house because she prepared something, is this world really about such matters? Is it?
I had a nice chat with my cousins and caught up with drama series that were currently being aired. Hahas! It had been such a long time since I last watched television. :)

Before heading home, I stopped by Cynthia’s house to settle some matters. It didn’t take long, I welcomed myself back home after that.

Unlike any other

Secret War Journal[21 August 2011]
At first, roughly 3 hours ago, I decided against posting this. But I guess I still end up typing all these out anyways.

See? I'm so feeble-minded. Tsk, tsk. Hahas.

Back to the topic.

Time for me to share a little bit of myself here. It is not very often I do so in such a straight-forward manner (in a relative sense, of course, I do not wish to court death. :) so chances are, this post may 'disappear' in the near future if I decide it's too revealing of personal information.

In my life thus far, yes, I have great moments of joy. Some similar, some rare, some unique.

Perhaps, the most unique of them all would be one particular topic in a conversation between my mother and I. Thinking back of this always brings back fond memories, I remember how I used to smile and feel really good whenever my mother would tell me how she decided on my name. In fact, I think I'm smiling now. Hahas!

The choosing of my name was in no way, accidental. It was a careful decision made by my mother(, and my father I suppose? My dad never tells me these stuff. Maybe we both are just as secretive. :)

Because close to no one else knows the rationale behind my name, it is like a secret between the both of us. I guess those were some of the first few secrets that I get to keep to. I am not sure if you had held one to secrecy before but personally, it feels really great to know something that no one else would ever know. At that point, you would experience first-hand that knowledge is power. Yes, some of you would claim the desire to reveal secrets is too tempting. But I assure you, it is not as hard as it seems to be. I can't explain it in words, you would have to attempt to resist the first time and it would become clear. It is not that difficult. :)

People may not know its meaning, I don't mind.
People may not see its significance, I don't mind.
People may not know its impact, I don't mind.

Your reason suffices.

We may lose a few battles, but we will not lose the war.
We will continue our struggle, watch over us.
--
Among all other people, my time with my mother was relatively short. But compared to my sister, it is infinitely longer. Even if the time I could spend with you is indeed short, I would have to be content that at least it was sufficiently long to have experienced happy memories of our family time. I have to, because my sister never had this opportunity. My despair would only lead to further despair...

Life has to move on, a king who is hardly sane can't lead. Truly, we live in heartless times

Secret War Journal[28 May 2010]

Before I start this post...(oh and this could potentially be a long post)

HAPPY VESAK DAY!!!

Went to the temple downstairs this afternoon to celebrate Vesak day. Like my dad, this is actually our first time celebrating Vesak Day at a temple and understand the Buddhist culture.

It's quite an eye-opener. Instead of taking three joss sticks, you take five.
(And I realised as I was going home, 5 could stand for many things. 5 for the 5th Month, May. 5 for the 5 directions for Chinese. [The 5 legendary Guardians]. Of course, I think that 5 symbolises the Five main deities in the temple.)

Had (double) lunch at the temple. Here's something funny. Today, I finally realise, as do my Father, that there are not one but two temples near our house. How did we find out? When we having lunch at the temple. :p

Like any other temple, you get your lunch by queueing up at a specified area, for the more predominant temple, the one where we prayed to the deities, there was a long queue. So long that one of the temple staff was joking with one man.

Man: The queue is very long and it keeps bending!
Staff: Yeah, it's very long, just be patient. Not even the 80 beads are enough for this queue!
Man(laughs): You should have 800 beads. :)

If you don't understand this joke...er...it is okay. Hahas.

After we got our lunch, we needed to find a place to eat. As the area was crowded, we walked and walked and (unknowingly) went to the neighbouring temple where the pathway was connected which made it seem as  if we still in the same temple.

At this temple, it wasn't as crowded so it was easy to find seats to eat. After eating finish our portions, we found it weird that some people here were eating something different from us and best of all, the catering area was devoid of crowd!

That's when we realise that we were in another temple. ROFL. How long had we lived here again?

Had ice-cream before heading for Compass Point. New Shoes! FTW~! (*Random*)

Pity the ice-cream man outside the Temple, who would buy from him when there are better and free ice-cream provided by the temple? :o

Back to our main topic...
Would post about my movie outing with Johnston, Keller, and Trevor soon. Sorry.

So what's today's topic? As promised(to no one in particular, LOL), I would be researching on every classmates' meaning of their names. (This excludes Chinese names, the meaning behind Chinese names are too complex for me to understand, being the fact that the explanation are in Chinese.)

Secret War Journal[22 January 2010]
Note: Will post about Meridian Junior College Open House when I have more time.

Down the Memory Lane, Streets of Geylang
Woke up relatively earlier than usual today. Today is going to be going to be busy day.

Woken up by a nightmare. Imagine being woken up via the shock from the a Taser.

=.=

My younger sister was preparing to go to school while I was trying to wake up my brain. My brain is trying to adjust to this change of sleep pattern.

No time to laze around though, I have a busy schedule to keep to today. Best not lag behind in today's plans.
--
Words of Thanks and more...
And towards the Ajunied MRT Station did I go...

After getting my results, my father asked me to pay my respects to my mother and tell her my "O" Levels Results.

Quite right. My mother deserves to know my marks.

But I still believe that my mother helped me. I'm not sure in what way but I feel that I should thank her for my good results.

So I thanked her today.
On the way, I paid my respects to my grandfather as well.

I got my shoes dirty on the day after I washed them. Oh well...
--
God knows I wanted to cry but I shouldn't. On the bright side, I kept that one side of the promise made ages ago...

But one is yet to be fulfilled...Only time will tell, huh?
--
Moving on, I headed towards Johnston's House.

On the way, I passed by the temple I used to worship in. It really bring back many memories, memories that I thought I had forgotten.

How many friends had I forsaken during my difficult time? Perhaps this is one of my biggest regret in life.

Thank you, Johnston, Marcus, Jia Xing, Jackie and many Inner Circle Friends for staying with me despite all odds.
Thank you for tolerating me. Thank you for everything.

P.S: Wonder how's the Aunt who used to take care of me?
--
Reaching Johnston's House, Johnston called me.

Sweet Timing! :)

Went to Johnston's House, we played Halo 3.

First time playing Halo 3. Cheered me up considerably, hahas.

Actually, this is the first time I played Halo 3. I bit slow but I don't really mind.

The brutes in Halo 3 are now funnier. =]

Grunts are ever funny. :)

Marines are still moderately funny.

Did I mention I like Arbiter? :)

Played with Johnston until 12PM. Called Jaytii to double-confirm that we're not getting pranked.

Thai Food much?
Met up with Jaytii and went shopping for my new school bag.

After that, met with Mr Quek(he forgot that he was supposed to join us for lunch. :p) to have lunch at some Thai Food Restaurant.

Talked about quite a number of things.

Had Oriental Fried Rice w/ Chicken there. It's average.

Mr Quek treated me today but I felt bad. Remind me to return him money next time I see him. ;)

Out of time.
Mr Quek had to return to school, Mr Koh was looking for him. (Opps?)
--
Next stop, we went to buy my school bag and said goodbye to Jaytii as we headed back to my school for CCA Recall...

CCA Return
I'm bringing Johnston along. ;)

Thanks Johnston for keeping me company, I won't be able to have done it without you. ;)

Did planning together with him.

After the CCA ended, I think Mr Goh was impressed with him. Hahas, bet he regretted teaching at NCHS now.
(Too late! Hahas)

So, yeah, we are confident that the CCA will survive with our absence. Woots!

Do your best, people, get more awards for the Club! :)
Brought John to the MRT and bade goodbye.

Now to fetch my younger bro home...

Secret War Journal[20 December 2009]
Today, I woke up sorta later than usual since my work won't start so early.

While waiting for my parents to get ready to go to the temple to meet up with our relatives, I was trying to finish this trilogy.

From Amazon.comFrom Amazon.com

It's a book based mainly on Norse Mythology and Runes(WOo la la!). Sorry, I'm a big fan of magic. :p

On the last book, which is the third book, there is a guide to the Runes used in this trilogy.

The only defect, I believe, would be that the book uses some french which were not translated by the author, which leaves you confused as to what was the conversation about. So you might arm yourself with a translator when you this book. :p (Kidding! French were only used sparingly. You could still understand the story without knowing French.)
--
This time, my family is way late, the last(in fact), to arrive and all the praying were already done. =.=

Oh well, it's not like I wanted to be late(my family's good at this, hopefully not me. :)

Paid my respects to my grandfather and mother.

P.S: My family kind of anti-social that day, they sort of avoided contact with the relatives, very emo-ish, like sitting in one isolated corner or something. Brr...
--
After that, I went off with Aunt to start work! ;)

Visits to Grandmother

Sunday, August 30, 2009
Secret War Journal[30 August 2009]
Perhaps I should backtrack a little bit, back to 29 August 2009...
--
Refer to Leroy's Secret War Journals: 27, Day of Geography Exam for some background information. ;)
--
Right! After posting the post yesterday, Lera and I went to our Grandmother's House. We went with my aunt and uncle because my Parents are busy tending the shop. :D

Before going to grandmother's house(because it's still kind of early), we went to our aunt's house. That's where I did my Physics Paper.
Alas, there were distractions, my speed of answering a MCQ Question is 1 per hour. (Yes, that's extremely slow)
So what distractions were there? No, I assure I did not use computer.(Or else my speed of answering would be even slower..:p Hahas)
Well, for starter's I watched a movie(halfway) and watched TV dramas. Hee...

After a while, Tze Yui and I went down to collect the flyers which my aunt will be distributing in a few day's time(okay that's tomorrow)
Unlike last time, I'm not helping her with the flyers(except carrying one or two boxes of flyers to her house...) because of my "O" Levels Examination. Haizz..that examination cost me some income opportunities!!!(LOLS!!!)

Okay, before I go nuts from the lost of profits, I want to tell you guys something. Actually, I'm supposed to be the only one going down to bring up the flyers but I sabo-ed Tze Yui to 'accompany' me. Hhaas!
(*Evil Laugh*)

To Tze Yu: It wasn't so bad right? Hahas. Guess not. Hahahas....

You know what the best part is? Tze Yui is still in school uniform(opps?) and for some funny reason she doesn't want to be seen wearing school uniform(I think I know why...but double opps? Hahahs...)

Okay, I'm getting a bit evil. Time to fast forward...

Yuki went for Violin lessons today. So Cool! (Okay that was random...)
(NOTE: Tze Yui eats dried Cuttlefish at a very fast rate...*Screams*..lols)
--
Anyway, on our way to Grandmother's house,  I found out another thing - Never let Lera eat Tic Tac Orange. She goes super HIGH. God knows why.(Maybe too much sugar content)

"Tic Tac's bad for health" - Yuki

Lols...
Well, for starters, Lera starts being extremely random. (it's like woah, what the...)
Then she starts to scream for seemingly no reason...
Followed by a 'catfight' with Tze Yui (hahas, third opps?)

I sort of ended the 'fun'. It's getting to noisy for my liking. Then Lera starts to throw tantrums, specifically at me,...

Oh well, at least the madness ended.
--
At grandmother's house, I had Roast duck, chicken and many food! Not to mention the drinks... Mmm!
Simin and family came as well. O.o. So did Qi Xian!
(I shall not elaborate, it's way too private. ;)

But I will say this, Qi Xian gone a lot thinner! Oh my god! We're, yes I think it was everyone ;), all shocked. It's been weeks, maybe months, since we last saw him.

Wow...Hahas...Then Simin's father was like asking Qi Xian: "Qi Xian, what's the secret behind slimming down?" (Translated roughly into english)

Hahas, not that I really care. (Because I'm not fat. Wohoo! Lols, just finding this opportunity to praise myself..hahas)

P.S: Is bony shoulders bad to lie on? Hmm..guess not..

Going back to 30 August 2009(yes, I'm skipping here and there because I'm running out of time)

Hungry Ghost Festival
(7th Month of Lunar Calender)
Woke up early in the morning to prepare for the trip to pay our respects to my late grandfather and mother.

Revised on Physics: Transfer of Thermal Energy while parents were tidying up the goods to be put on sale in the shop.

That's pretty much the reason we were late. You see, we're supposed to go to Grandmother's house to bring her to the temple at 10:30AM but we only left our house AT 10:30 AM. Oh dear..

Well, no real damage was done. Phew..
--
Rain..Haiz..rain complicates stuff during such events... In addition to coming out with lots of bags to carry, you would need to hold an umbrella.
Anyway, I did not bother to use an umbrella(lazy to). Hope I don't catch a cold. :o

Unexpectedly, the temple is crowded. (Silly me, everyone's coming for the same reason as me)

Rain...crowd, what did I miss? :o

林金食
美泠
Forever Missed...

To my grandfather who could speak english. (:D So pro right?)
To my mother who had been very dear to me...
--
Ate lunch in the temple. (They no longer charge us $2...)

My father 'abandoned' me halfway. Zzzz...
He gave me two choices - Either take MRT home with Lera or hitch a ride with Qi Xian's Parents. Being lazy, I obviously chose to tag along with Qi Xian. Ha!

(Wonder why Simin's Father was laughing secretly at me...*Scratch Heard*)

Okay, so this is first time in Qi Xian's Parents' Car, I like their radio. Looks so cool! They have a GPS Navigator too. Woot! So stylish right? Hahas...

I can describe their atmosphere when they were bring Lera and I home in one word: Excited. LOL...

They accidentally took a wrong turn and thus activated the GPS navigator(and that's when the COOL part started) hahas.

It has the same voice as Bao Lin's sister's GPS Navigator.. O.o (Maybe the voices are copied many times over. Hahas)

Got home and did Chinese Composition, which is kind of overdue...before coming to blog. >=D

God! I swear, I skimmed through so many parts that I can't believe that I have actually related the entire day out! I'm sorry if you don't exactly understand(maybe because I cut out the personal parts. :D opps?). But yeah, like I said, I'm kind of in a rush so without further ado, bye bye and until next time! ;)

P.S: Thanks Grandmother for the Tau Sa Bing! Hee...And did I mention that one of my joss stick just cannot light up after numerous times??? Well it did, after much attempts....

Secret War Journal[18 Jun 2009]

Thursday, June 18, 2009
Yeah, this is a super outdated post but nevertheless, this day is kind of important to me so I guess I should not leave it.

Now, why is this day so important that I can't just ignore this post and move on with my current life? Beats me, until my father told me, that is.

Now look at the date: 18 Jun. For those who know well enough, this date has no significant meaning in my life. Okay, apart from the fact that it is one day after my birthday.

Nothing right? Sorry, just trying to make sure we're on the same page.

Now we can move onto what exactly IS going on here. ^^ (that's right, I was just fooling around, to a certain extent)
--
Mother's Death Anniversary 2009
Hee hee, got a shock of your life yet? Yep, today is supposedly the Death Anniversary of my late mother. But *WAIT!*, didn't my mother died on my younger sister's birthday? And today is certainly not my younger sister's birthday.

So what in the world is going on here?
Haha, fear not, you have gone nuts and I'm still in every bit sane. I'm sure there is a logical answer to this. (:

The logic behind the answer is so simple that you should had laughed your head off this. Today IS my late mother's death anniversary, on the lunar calender. Now, I bet you hadn't thought of that, right? It is expected for Chinese to use their own calender to commemorate its special days. (I hope I used the right vocabulary)

So, here I am, waking up early in the morning and boarded a bus with my dad to meet my grandmother before paying respect to my late mother.

The temple was very empty today(today's a weekday). During the journey to the temple, I stained my shorts with curry. =.=
Upon reaching the temple, the first I did was to wash my shorts. LOL! Unfortunately, I was unable to wash off the stain, if not lighten it.
As of posting, the stain remains....

Aside that, my father had to meet my mother somewhere else, so he left grandmother and I to go back grandmother's house by taxi. After which, I went home by bus.

The bus was a long trip. Bus "80" is always fast when heading towards harbourfront but slow when going towards home. I'm not sure if this is something to do with mentality but I waited for 1 hour just for that one bus to appear.

Which is why I'm glad I brought a book along to entertain me.

Actually I brought along my PSP too but it went flat during the trip to my Grandmother's house. I think I forgot to re-charge. =.=

God, I miss my mum. Hahas. Anyway, I got school tomorrow and it's late now. So I will end it here. So sorry for not elaborating much, there wasn't time.

Secret War Journal[12 April 2009]

Sunday, April 12, 2009
Ah, HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY!

It is good to be alive. Several things happened over this week, hopefully I can talk all about them. Hahas.

Should we start with the most eventful(the one that I feel it is) one?

Alright, some background information:
Last Sunday, my family and my extended family went to pay our respects to our late family members as it was 'qingming' festival. That day was a gloomy day, with dark clouds and all. Before we knew it, there was a heavy downpour and we were drenched from head to toe.
And guess what? On Monday, I was hit with bad flu. Ouch! I have no idea how many pieces of tissue paper had I used that day alone. LOLS!

Well anyway, that's just the beginning. After school, I was really tired and went for an afternoon nap. Ate dinner and went back to bed.

The last thing I wanted was chest pain. In the middle of the night, I woke up with chest pain. I ended up spending one hour at night trying to alleviate the pain before I fell asleep again(or lost consciousness).

During the period of time when I felt pain, I seriously thought this was it, I'm near death or something. Call me dumb but I was like whispering, "I'm too young to die".

Guess that worked. LOLs.

Thinking back, I think it might be the over-sneezing that made my chest hurts(my lungs over-worked?)

Hopefully so. It better not be some undetected disease or something.

Luckily, the days after that, I felt better and better! :D
So I guess all is well now(..for now?)

Though I have sore throat now. grr...-.-

This week, we have an long weekend! Isn't that great? Sad to say, I spent most of the time sleeping. Been really tired lately due to long period of insufficient sleep for the past few months.

So I feel more refreshed now! Yay! Rejoice! Hahas.. ;)

But hey! I'm not some sleeping pig that sleep the whole day long. I did homework, little housework(opps? Tehee) and played some games!

Recently, John and I went back to playing OpenTTD, a transport tycoon simulation game.

John's now a better player than me ;)
[C'mon! Admit you're owning..hahas]

Back to my school life, I had a English Situational Test recently, I hope I did well for it. This is because I'm now concentrating on improving my English and Chemistry to improve me L1R5. ;)

Yep! Let's all work hard to go to the same school(and a good one as well..hahas)

Tomorrow is my Social Studies Test. It seems challenging, one big chunk of contents packed into one chapter. Haiz...

Not to mention Maths Test in the coming Saturday. Secondary 4 life is just about tests and examinations. Haiz...

I really hope that we can watch some movies during the June Holidays. Really need to release some steam. Hahas.

On a side note, Bao Lin and Cynthia seems to be getting easily provoked(or maybe it is just me) recently, maybe they're stressed as well..hahas)

Not to mention the fact that, they got angry because someone cut their queue during lunch time and that dish sorta went out of stock because that guy bought the last one. LOLs? Really laughable. Okay, that was unkind.

Right some advertising time!

Watch this anime series called "Pandora Hearts"!!!

It's airing now and I think it's nice!!! GoGo! don't hesitate!

LOLs...okay, won't force you guys. Guess most of you guys just like to watch "Naruto" :p

That should be all, bye!

P.S: Marcus!!! You did not call me as planned. LOLs!

Footnote to all: This place is not getting that secretive anymore, it's getting public attention by Search Engines, I actually saw the link to here(which in the past, impossible). Is this a bad sign? Maybe not ;P

~ ADDITIONAL CONTENT -12/4/2009- ~

Ah! Sorry for bulging in to this post again, I forgot to talk about something interesting that Jaytii thought of recently...

On Thursday, the before Good Friday, Chris, Jaytii, Lai Yin and I went to Compass Point for Lunch.
On the way, we met Wei Ting and Bao Lin, who also are going for lunch.
We saw a classmate from a distance, but that's not the main point.

Anyway, we decided to have lunch together at the food court. Jaytii started calling Wei Ting her 'exotic leader' and we started to have ideas.

And so the idea of 'WeiTinglism' is born.

Info(this is for fun only):
  1. Government: Dictatorship
  2. Leader: Wei Ting AKA Waiting
  3. 2nd-in-command: Jaytii AKA Wasted
  4. Members:
    1. Bao Lin AKA Wei Lin
    2. Christopher AKA wo shi lying de Wei Yi
    3. Me
And thus if you can make sentence with some of the nicks: I am Waiting to be wasted. :P.

Okay, that's it for now before Jaytii started brainwashing us. HAHAs :p

We arrived late, 1 hour late. Ate lunch there in the temple and god! They changed the rules, the food is no longer provided free! They charge you $2 and it's not even food that are up to standard, my father had to end up paying $7 more later outside to buy more food.

Talk about economic crisis. Sheesh.

21 December 2008, 冬至
Right, I have not posted for sometime now. You may not be glad to know that I'm still rushing homework. Haiz. Blame the school for so much homework assigned to us. LOL! Okay, we're partly at fault for being lazy-bums. LOL?

Today is 冬至 and in Chinese Customs, we have to pay our respects to our ancestors. I didn't really bothered to check but if you are so kind, please tell me how this tradition came about. ;)

As I was saying, today is 冬至 and I have to wake up rather early to go to the temple and give offerings to our ancestors. My father had woke up even earlier to buy meat and vegetables for my mother to cook during next week. Well, he's a early waker. I'm not T.T

Woke up like a zombie today. Haiz..And didn't eat breakfast. The hard bread just spoil my mood to eat(even though I baked it....I just don't feel like eating..). My mother later asked me to turn on the computer because our grandmother-in-law will be going online later. Oh well.

Then my father came back. Got scolded early in the morning, totally lost any mood to talk to anyone right then.

I just getting ignored here. Grr..I hate this...lol...

Anyway, we later went to our grandmother's house to help carry the offerings to my father's car.
Then, there was a change of plans. My father felt thirsty and told me to buy him coffee and buy my sister and myself some breakfast. He gave me a $10 note and left.

Bought coffee but still don't felt like eating so I did not buy anything. Since my sister ate breakfast at home, she didn't felt hungry.

Before it confuse you any further, my younger brother and my mother didn't tag along.

So yeah, we picked up our Grandmother and to the temple we went.

My aunt and her daughter have already arrived.
Shush, our family lost the race again(yesterday, we went to grandmother's house too, we're second...too...)

Wonder where's Qi Xian. Always the last. LOL? Okay, not always but often. ;p

We place the food in front of the tablets of our ancestors with lots of food. It's always a feast. Hahas...

Then we, the cousins who were there, yuki. Ziyu all got lame and played with my younger sister. LOL..No sweets there.

Then we went for lunch at the first floor of the temple. Along the way, Qi Xian and his family arrived.
I had bee hoon, as do the rest of my cousins and sister.

I tell you, my younger sister very sad. She did not like to eat alot of stuffs for lunch(weird girl...)

She at first didn't want the fried vegetables with flour, that food went to yuki's plate(=p)
She then didn't want to eat the beancurd, that food went to ziyu's plate(=p)
All the nice food some more.LOL!

She end up eating rice with green vegetables. OMG.....Okay, she still have watermelon.

She also did not want the tea, I took it, was thirsty. Hah.

Qi Xian arrived. He started to play with my younger sister, taking the watermelon.

OHH! HAHA, my younger sister likes the watermelon and didn't want to give away. She actually keep looking at Qi Xian. She even placed her fork on the watermelon. I guess that was meant to prevent Qi Xian from taking the watermelon. Not sure how though.

My father arrived later with his plate of food, though he later went out to join grandmother and eat together.

When my younger sister finally eat finish her rice and vegetable, you should have seen how fast she mouthed down the watermelon.

A big slice of watermelon finished off three mouthfuls. OUCH!....

This time, a few things are different. We did not actually take a joss stick and 'talk' to our ancestors. First time this happened. I think the elders forgot or something. I spent the rest of the time reading the book Marcus passed to me.

Though later we did play some childish games. BUT IT WAS FUN!. LOL....

Hey I got the piah from the trip again. I have not ate it yet, wonder when is the best time to eat it. Hmm...

After that we went to our grandmother-i-law's house. I would rather not talk about it.

The situation had really soured a lot since my real mother's death. So if I post it here, it will not be pretty. Serious, believe me.

After that, I went to Rivervale mall and had a haircut.

Phew! Finally get rid of my long hair. It's so hard to make sure my fringe didn't interfere with my daily work because it kept coming to block my eyesight.
Good riddance, I say.
After that I also went to buy my new school shoes. I hope it can actually last an year. LOL.
My previous shoes in actual fact cannot stay in good condition for a year, should be around 8 months.
Poor quality shoes for such a heavy price tag. GRr..

Wonder what would happen to my shoes since this current pair is like way cheaper than my previous pair.

Opps? Help pray for my shoes' safety. LOL?

I also bought two 10KG bag of rice and two bag of plain flour. Opf..Heavy...I dragged them back to my home(with a trolley, of course).

AND FINALLY, dinner! Yeah! We had our home-cooked rice and soup and chicken from a chicken rice stall. WOOT!

And my father was complaining their soup no business..lol

Who can beat chicken rice? HAHA...somemore me all-time favourite since young. HAHA!

Don't worry, dad! We will finish the soup tomorrow for lunch!
