2nd January 2009 with the First day of School!

Some would say the day they have been dreading have come, some would say the day they have been looking forward to have finally arrived.

For me, it is a in-between, I got mixed feelings. I don't school to start because I had not finished homework and I want to go to school because it provides a carefree and long-term excuse for leaving my house. HAHAs....

Right, I didn't have a good sleep last night and I only managed to wake up after two alarm clocks went off. Such a disgrace...lol.

up so early for the past two months and I 'm having cold! ARG!!!

Oh well, I did not use computer in the morning and left home at exactly 7 o'clock in the morning. Hmm..Wonder if I will be late at the first day of school? I hope not.

The amazing thing is that my home is now so near to my school that I can reach my school in 5 minutes!(that means I'm not late! Wohoo!)

It is a new year and so we're getting a new batch of teachers. My new form teacher says my hair is too long! I just had it cut not long ago and it's short by school rules! This is way weird man!

No matter, we, my class, just realized that our classroom had changed without prior notice! Some of us had placed their secondary 4 books in the previous allocated classroom and quickly ran to retrieve it. Thank god I did not place my books there. LOL!

During the first two periods in class when our form teacher is introducing herself, Jie Sheng kept pestering me to sit at the last row. Had I mention I hated the last row, I never sat there for more than 10 minutes last year and I'm not going to change that fact for this year. Yep, not even for Jie Sheng.

In the end, we compromised that I sit at the second last row, at least it is not the last row(and the form teacher did not even realise it. -.-)

Oh, this time I'm sitting with Wei Siang. Christopher sit at the last row.Mrs Sim, our Maths Teacher for this year and last year, had great news for us, okay not that great but enough for me to rejoice. We do not need to hand in her work! Woot! I only finished her Elementary Maths Questions, but it's great, a great burden off my shoulders!

Then we had PE on our first day of school. We took height and weight today. I got 1.75M and 53.8Kg. Wohoo! Don't ask me what made me say that.(Because I truly do not know)

Anyway, Cynthia today informed of a open house for Ngee Ann Poly. I have checked out the details. It is between 8-10 January 2009, 11AM~6Pm[GMT +8]. Wonder who's going

Besides that, tomorrow's CCA Day, I have to make the video for the tomorrow's event and banners and stuff. I had just completed which is why I can post about this now. LOLS.

Oh and can you believe it? I have homework already! Secondary 4 life is really very stressful. No tto mention a maths test in the next coming week. Ohmigosh, school barely started and so much events are coming at full speed. I may need to buy time to finish everything....

Hopefully, I can post about what had happened at tomorrow's CCA day ;)

1st January 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR, GUYS!!!
Right, I'm done with that message(lol).

I don't really much stuff to say since I have been rushing homework for the past few days.

As of posting, I have finished the following:
  1. Elementary Maths Homework Questions
  2. Two Additional Maths Revision Exercises.
  3. 10 English Newspaper Reflection
  4. 3 English Comprehension + Summary
  5. 2 Chinese Newspaper Reflection
  6. 2 English Books Reviews
And I'm not near finishing. I guess I will join the ranks of the majority of my class who all could complete the assigned homework.

Let's do talk depressed stuffs.

Yesterday was New Year's eve.

I was watching anime late at night and did not realize that it was already past midnight and that was then I received several 'Happy New Year' Greetings.

Serious! I did not countdown man. It's like WOW! It's New Year. LOL....

At 11:59PM on my clock before midnight. My neighbourhood was filled with shouts, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Okay, only three shouts. But they're are loud. Wohoo! Nice Neighbourhood I have. LOL.

Okay, I'm probably need to end my post here. It's short I know, but I need to finish as many homework I can. Sorry!

24 December 2008 @ Plaza Singapura and Tampines Community Centre

Yo, it has been so long since I have updated here.
That I apologise, things at home had been rather hectic and I had to wait for Emelia to pass me the pictures though it's not her fault. Don't blame her, blame my family. LOLs...

And wohoo! I recently finally finished 80 E.Maths Questions given by my maths teacher.
Now to do 18 x 4 A.Maths questions in 4 days. OMG....
Had not started on English Summary either.
Book reviews are a disaster.
Chinese not started.

All to be done in 5 days. It's madness.

Well, I am going to talk non-stop about hopeless stuff. Let's talk what I did today. ;)

Johnston, my best friend, had invited to me to watch the movie, "Twilight". His sister, Emelia will be tagging along as well as his schoolmate, Trevor.

I have never met Trevor in real life before, though I had talked with him and played with him online before. It would be great to meet a friend of your friend, huh? :D

We decided to meet to meet at the MRT station near Plaza Singapura at 11AM, though the initial plan was to meet at 12 noon.
The reason for meeting for so early was to allow us to still eat Sakae Sushi Restaurant even if someone is late. Or so we thought.

I reached that about 7 minutes late. I did not had breakfast partly because my family had not bought any and I lazy to buy. (lol.)
I did not bring water bottle too, found no place to put in my new sling bag that my father passed on to me.
I will show you a picture of the sling bag in the future but I do not have time to do so..yet.

Anyway, the MRT station has many exits and it seems I took a wrong turn, I reached the basement of Plaza Singapura.
The reason for me saying I took a wrong turn is due to the fact that we agreed to meet at the glass hall just outside of the building, Plaza Singapura. I had to go to the Ground Floor of the building and go to Glass Hall. Sigh, I think I am now severely late.

When I passed by the StarBucks, I called Johnston, meaning to ask whether they had reached.

Then, amazingly, I'm the first to reach here as they're still at Raffles Place.
Wow, I'm late for the meeting yet the earliest. LOL!

As I did not bring water with me, I feel very thirsty. As luck has it, there is a "7 Eleven" store just outside the exit which is still located in the Glass hall. I brought some sweets to keep my throat wet. Prove to be a good move to make me able to talk to my friends later which losing my voice. Weird, huh? Sweets for breakfast....

After a few minutes, I receive a call from Johnston, he and his sister took the wrong turn too! HAHAs..

And so, we raced to the cinema, ok, not exactly a race since we're like walking towards it. No rush, after all.

I reached the cinema first. No Johnston or his sister in sight. Hmm..I wonder they used the lift or the escalator. Looking down, I saw them, at the third storey. Heehee.

Guess, what I'm up to?

I went to to the fifth floor and waited for them to reach me. Then I said, "BOO!"

Yeah, childish but fun. :D

And so we went to book the movie tickets first. Later no more good seats.

Right, Movie "Twilight", left seats at the far back, if want middle of the cinema, only left seats 6 rows from front. We figured it would be like really middles of everything, so yeah, we chose that seat.

Not to mention, Johnston's Sister, Emelia, tried to secretly take photo of us. We caught her. HaHa...

Here's the first photo she took:
Photobucket
The One in white is Johnston and the one wearing blue with striped collar is ME! We looking to the left, it seems everyone is. LOL!

Right, okay, we're now that camera-shy(not like 'some people') Heehee..
So we took a proper picture this time:
John and Me
John, making a cute face, and me, laughing!

And that reminds me, Emelia made a paper plane for me. So nice. LOL! I still have it in my room. Here's a pic:
Paper Plane
Paper Plane by Emelia!

Hey did I mention that Trevor had not reached yet? LOL...but anyway, we bought tickets for him. Hmm..hope he does come.

Meanwhile, we went to visit the arcade because Emelia saw soft toys inside the machines. Then, we went to play a game that you will have to stack up the blocks, if you reach the top, you get a major prize(for this case, a PS3)

Sadly, none of us got it. LOL!, I think the keepers of the arcade must be glad because John was like one more line to reach the major prize. Yep, he's the most nearest to the major prize among us.

Then we we went to look at the make-a-bear shop. I don't know why, I feel that I have came here before, its features so familiar but I'm pretty sure I have never been here because I still need Johnston to explain how the process of making a bear works in this shop. They have clothes, voices, how fluffy you want it and more!

I even saw a car that can 'walk' on glass walls vertically! It's like wow, even though I saw them before. For some reason, it just amaze me. Yeah, I'm easy to please right?

Sometime around there, Trevor called John to say, he just woke up. Ok.....It's now 11:30+. Hmm..the movie starts at 1.10PM, can he make it. Hope so.

We went down back to the basement to see if the restaurant needs queueing, we end up staring at a screen that shows a drama sneak preview(lol?).
It's a japanese drama. Hmm..Never seen one before last time I recall.

Then Emelia did not want to move away, so John went to check if the restaurant is crowded. Apparently not. HAHAs...

And we went to a nearby fish store(actually just opposite of the video store...)

Here's are some amazing things I saw:
Fish with bubbles in its mouth
Some of you actually see this before, me too. But I can't help but wonder why such a thing happens. I want the purpose of the bubble bag.

BLUE CRAB!
Hey Hey! It's rare to see a crab with blue shells, for me anyway. HAHAs

Two Tortoise.
Now that's something you don't see everyday. A Tortoise on top of another.

Goldfish
Fishes
Just Fishes and more! LOL!

More of fish pictures at Emelia's Blog. ->Click here!<-

Trevor then inform us that he's taking a taxi to rush here but there's traffic jam on the way. It's too late to eat Sushi now. We have to go for Fast Food Restaurant. That means Mac'Donald because we had KFC the previous time.

We went to Mac's first to eat lunch. Emelia was rather furious with Trevor for being so late.

Here's something funny happened when John and I ordered.
We ordered one grillover set, one student meal, o'fillet and one student meal, MacChicken. Then the total pricing for this is SGD$16.00. We heard wrongly and we thought it was SGD$60.00. I think John's eyes almost popped. Luckily, we saw the counter that writes "$16.00" there. Hahas. I took out a $50 notes to foot the bill, that being the note I brought for today.

John was saying, "I thought the inflation had grown so bad that it's $60, even your $50 note is not enough"
We then started laughing.

Not long after we started eating, Trevor arrived. I told no one, but god! He looks like someone, as I seen him before. But I don't who, don't remember. He don't seems to recognize me so maybe it's just me.
He has a rather dark skin.
And he's like us, a very good sense of humour! Wohoo! Go, man! LOLs...

He brought SGD$150, that day. That's alot. Way lot...

Anyway, he was like complaining John calling him early in the morning to wake him up(John called at 10:30AM)
Anyway, that call was futile, Trevor just went to back to sleep. LOLs....

Right, let's cut to the chase, we then went to buy popcorn and stuff and went to watch the MOVIE!

Wohoo!
Ok.."Twilight" is a really almost pure romance movie. Painfully, slow due to that. I want more action in the MOVIE! *Sigh*...

But, the movie was okay.

Light! That movie was the first time I ate my popcorn so slowly, I finished it when the credits appeared. LOL?

Trevor figured that maybe I was so into the movie that I watched without touching the popcorn. LOL?

I think it's because the popcorn was filled with mostly salty popcorn even though John had helped say to the server that I wanted a mix of sweet and salty popcorn.

I mean, I been eating salty popcorn until the movie reached it's middle course.
Then I exclaimed to John, who was beside me,"My first sweet popcorn!"

We laughed, not too loud of course since we're watching a movie.

After the movie, John commented that Emelia kept saying,"suck blood..suck blood" throughout the movie. LOL!?

Trevor did not finish his popcorn. Hm..someone is slower than me! Wohoo! LOL...

As planned, Emelia will return home while the rest of us will go to Tampines Community Centre to play some computer games there.

I had to top-up my ez-link and god, I only have a $10 notes as my smallest change. I wanted to top-up $5 only but it's a machine, and how could it have known I only wanted to top-up $5?

Thank god, John got a $5 spare change. MY SAVIOUR!.. Wohoo!

And so we go.....Trevor keep asking, "Are we there?" "where's the LAN shop? I don't see one"

I won't blame him, when I first followed John to that shop with Marcus, I asked pretty much questions too.

Then we stopped by for toilet trip and Trevor was like saying, "So the LAN shop is in the toilet? I wonder how people play..."

Nice one. Though I suggested the idea first :p

We played a match of DotA first. We shuffle player to be fair.

Here are the team:

1. John, Me, AI+
2. Trevor, AI+, AI+

I pity Trevor because he said he had not played that game for a very long time. Oh well...

Trevor got Tiny, a gay hero for melee heroes, since our side all are melee heroes.

But must say, it had been fun.

I remember this part most:

Trevor was pushing on the bottom lane, to cut off his creeps and I stand before him a bit and he didn't want to attack me because there is a big chance I can kill him since I got full item set and lots of mana. Not to mention, I'm tidehunter :D

Well Trevor didn't want to try to kill me, so he pushed one. Then all of sudden...

John killed his hero.
The best part is that no one knew he was there, no even me.
Trevor was like saying, "What is this!?"

I was saying, "Resistance is futile!"

We laughed...

In the end, we won.

Then it was 7pm in the night. John had to go. Since it's so late, Trevor decided to hail a cab. I will be the first to drop off, at the Ajunied MRT station which I will then take a train back home. John will go directly home and Trevor last since he's footing the bill.

I reached home at around 8pm. I SMSed John to wish his family a Merry X'mas. And went online to do that to everyone else.

And I want to say it here too.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

~THE END~

21 December 2008, 冬至
Right, I have not posted for sometime now. You may not be glad to know that I'm still rushing homework. Haiz. Blame the school for so much homework assigned to us. LOL! Okay, we're partly at fault for being lazy-bums. LOL?

Today is 冬至 and in Chinese Customs, we have to pay our respects to our ancestors. I didn't really bothered to check but if you are so kind, please tell me how this tradition came about. ;)

As I was saying, today is 冬至 and I have to wake up rather early to go to the temple and give offerings to our ancestors. My father had woke up even earlier to buy meat and vegetables for my mother to cook during next week. Well, he's a early waker. I'm not T.T

Woke up like a zombie today. Haiz..And didn't eat breakfast. The hard bread just spoil my mood to eat(even though I baked it....I just don't feel like eating..). My mother later asked me to turn on the computer because our grandmother-in-law will be going online later. Oh well.

Then my father came back. Got scolded early in the morning, totally lost any mood to talk to anyone right then.

I just getting ignored here. Grr..I hate this...lol...

Anyway, we later went to our grandmother's house to help carry the offerings to my father's car.
Then, there was a change of plans. My father felt thirsty and told me to buy him coffee and buy my sister and myself some breakfast. He gave me a $10 note and left.

Bought coffee but still don't felt like eating so I did not buy anything. Since my sister ate breakfast at home, she didn't felt hungry.

Before it confuse you any further, my younger brother and my mother didn't tag along.

So yeah, we picked up our Grandmother and to the temple we went.

My aunt and her daughter have already arrived.
Shush, our family lost the race again(yesterday, we went to grandmother's house too, we're second...too...)

Wonder where's Qi Xian. Always the last. LOL? Okay, not always but often. ;p

We place the food in front of the tablets of our ancestors with lots of food. It's always a feast. Hahas...

Then we, the cousins who were there, yuki. Ziyu all got lame and played with my younger sister. LOL..No sweets there.

Then we went for lunch at the first floor of the temple. Along the way, Qi Xian and his family arrived.
I had bee hoon, as do the rest of my cousins and sister.

I tell you, my younger sister very sad. She did not like to eat alot of stuffs for lunch(weird girl...)

She at first didn't want the fried vegetables with flour, that food went to yuki's plate(=p)
She then didn't want to eat the beancurd, that food went to ziyu's plate(=p)
All the nice food some more.LOL!

She end up eating rice with green vegetables. OMG.....Okay, she still have watermelon.

She also did not want the tea, I took it, was thirsty. Hah.

Qi Xian arrived. He started to play with my younger sister, taking the watermelon.

OHH! HAHA, my younger sister likes the watermelon and didn't want to give away. She actually keep looking at Qi Xian. She even placed her fork on the watermelon. I guess that was meant to prevent Qi Xian from taking the watermelon. Not sure how though.

My father arrived later with his plate of food, though he later went out to join grandmother and eat together.

When my younger sister finally eat finish her rice and vegetable, you should have seen how fast she mouthed down the watermelon.

A big slice of watermelon finished off three mouthfuls. OUCH!....

This time, a few things are different. We did not actually take a joss stick and 'talk' to our ancestors. First time this happened. I think the elders forgot or something. I spent the rest of the time reading the book Marcus passed to me.

Though later we did play some childish games. BUT IT WAS FUN!. LOL....

Hey I got the piah from the trip again. I have not ate it yet, wonder when is the best time to eat it. Hmm...

After that we went to our grandmother-i-law's house. I would rather not talk about it.

The situation had really soured a lot since my real mother's death. So if I post it here, it will not be pretty. Serious, believe me.

After that, I went to Rivervale mall and had a haircut.

Phew! Finally get rid of my long hair. It's so hard to make sure my fringe didn't interfere with my daily work because it kept coming to block my eyesight.
Good riddance, I say.
After that I also went to buy my new school shoes. I hope it can actually last an year. LOL.
My previous shoes in actual fact cannot stay in good condition for a year, should be around 8 months.
Poor quality shoes for such a heavy price tag. GRr..

Wonder what would happen to my shoes since this current pair is like way cheaper than my previous pair.

Opps? Help pray for my shoes' safety. LOL?

I also bought two 10KG bag of rice and two bag of plain flour. Opf..Heavy...I dragged them back to my home(with a trolley, of course).

AND FINALLY, dinner! Yeah! We had our home-cooked rice and soup and chicken from a chicken rice stall. WOOT!

And my father was complaining their soup no business..lol

Who can beat chicken rice? HAHA...somemore me all-time favourite since young. HAHA!

Don't worry, dad! We will finish the soup tomorrow for lunch!

17 December 2008
Right, I hope you guys noticed but I will just spoil the fun anyway.
I have decided to have 30 posts in a month and slowly advance.
I have not decided what would happen when the post reaches 2002 but it's not anyway near yet....

So I will stick to the plan of 30/31 posts per month. Now you're probably wondering why there's a 30 or 31 posts. I have decided to let it fit a month, as fit posted daily. Won't it be nice and orderly?
Okay, maybe not but still...
--
Right, what I did today?
Nothing much to be frank except I update alot on Combineset recently.

And oh, I get to know Clarice's Blog today. Wow! Didn't really expect but things comes to you where you least expect. :D

Well, it's not a bad thing so I won't really mind. :D

And there's post coming right up at 4AM[GMT +8]. Yep, it will be there. No possible delays. Stay tuned to my website and you will see it.

Gosh, I starting to sound like a businessman. Hahas...

Anyway, I'm starting to panic. I have not buy my school shoes yet simply because my father had not given me the money yet. I don't see a point of using my own money anyway. I want to save every cent of it if possible. Hahas...

Hopefully, he remembers or else I'm going to my school bare-footed next year. hmm..not a very promising thought. *Shake head vigorously*

Wish me luck in finishing my homework!

Sorry, the post about my trip to my best friend's house is still not done so I posting this first since I got a picture to show :p

For those who have no idea what is Crunchyroll, it is a site similiar to youtube yet not similiar.

One big difference is that Crunchyroll offers the best HD online Video Streaming from all the sites I visited so far.

1 December 2008 @ Johnston's House
Arg, not enough sleep, almost could not wake myself up to prepare myself to go Johnston's, my Best friend's, house.

Could only blame of all the delays that the furnisher have brought for my loss of sleep for the past few days. LOL...just kidding. i think all of us are partly to blame, our family didn't really packed everything in boxes anyway.

Well, that's not today's topic, huh? :D
--(notice I use back to "--" instead of the big long line, cus it was too troublesome.)
Now that I moved house, this will be my first time going to Johnston's house from here.
But hey, I did my homework, I know I have to head towards Compass Point where the Bus Interchange is located first and take the usual bus "80" to reach near his house.

I previously told Emelia, Johnston's Sister, that I'm coming at around 7:30AM[GMT +8]. But I had not accounted for walking towards the Bus Interchange(yeah, I'm dumb)

And so, I'm already late and the Bus that came was a Bus "80A". Notice that "A"? That means it terminates its bus service earlier than its number's route. Well it say it's terminating at Ajunied Station, that's near Johnston's house so I boarded that bus.

Boy, little did I know that the bus actually terminates at exactly one stop before my preferred stop. Such misfortune! LOL...need to walk one bus-stop distance to reach Johnston's house. Well, the good thing is that I can take shortcuts to reach there. LOL!

Well i reach there around 8:00AM[GMT +8]. Hmm not that late after all, sigh...

When I reach the house, Johnston's sister was still sleeping as usual.
John's awake, and he suggest I try out the new game he got. "Rayman 2"
I got "rayman 1", never tried before the sequel. In fact, I never knew there were a sequel until that very day. Haha.

That game is fun, though I think it's a bit lacking in co-op play. Despite that, the 2 players mode in tour mode were fun. Yep, I had alot of fun playing that game :D
--
Then his sister woke up, we played "Rayman 2" for a while before his sister suggest that we play some boardgames. I think she likes boardgames, maybe second interest beside soft toys. :p

Johnston chose Monopoly.

Right, let me describe my feeling when we first started playing the Boardgame - Right, very long had not played this game.

And after the game? OMG, the horror...the horror....
--
Before you jump to conclusion, however right you may be, at least give me a chance to clarify. :D

Unlike many Singaporeans, we play a different rule, not the "League Rules" nor the "House Rule".

I would say a mix since we had a missing property deed and the free parking have a progressive lottery prize.

Not to mention, we forgo the first round touring around the board. We simply start, and we buy the property we land on.

Trade is allowed and only when you acquired all property deed of the same colour, can you upgrade to houses and hotels.

And so we played, I got almost all types of colour, and I got one set of yellow. Then I traded with Johnston some property deeds to gain for ground.
Apparently, the trading proved fatal of me. You can say it have been a serious and critical miscalculation of mine.

I think Emelia must have a urge to kill me for trading with her brother.Hahs

I actually wanted to trade with Emelia but she had a bad history with trading in monopoly(small wonder?)

Emelia had no sets, partly because of me holding almost one deed of each house colour. I suggested trade to stop the stalemate but she refused. This end up Johnston getting richer since he was the first to reach hotel for all his property deeds for that only set he had.(partly because, we kept reaching his hotel..OMG..the horror...)

And so we lost, down to not a single cent, a complete victory for Johnston. Woots! LOL...
--
Then we had lunch near his house and we went to Plaza Singapura to watch movie.

F.Y.I, the movie we're going to watch is "Madagascar 2: Escape Africa"

I'm not going to write a review about it because, one I do not know what to write without spoiling the movie and two, I'm lazy to type so much.

All I can say is, if laughter is what you seek, come down and watch the movie!
Oh, they added Romance into the bag.
The ending is sort of...indescribable.
--
And we went home. I meant their home. (DUH?)
Played some computer and went for dinner and back to computer. LOL.
--
Johnston's Desktop Computer just got spoiled recently, I'm not sure whether it got short-circuited or simply died out on him. As such, I can't fix it. *Sigh*

Not that I mind much since the biggest consequences was not playing of Warcraft together but since we can play even when we're at our own respective homes, it does not account much huh?

The problem is when we're doing the project that Johnston wants to make a game, a simple one.
Now that only one computer, his laptop, can access the Internet and so happens that only that computer have the software, progress really went slowly.

Oh, did I mention that Johnston have another desktop? No, I did not. right, he has another desktop, Windows 98, can't connect to Internet but can still play games nonetheless.

We played Heroes IV(and didn't managed to complete it after a week!). And other games like submarine Titans and Casino Tycoon.

The main desktop that was spoiled is a Windows XP. See the weird thing? The newer computer died before the old computer. The IT Techies were not kidding when they said old computers are hardy.
--
First Day in his house, and we did so much. Didn't realize it until I typed it all out. Haha!

2 December 2008 @ Johnston's House
Woke up at around 8AM[GMT +8] today.
I consider this as me waking up very early because for the past few days, apart from Monday, I have been waking up around 10AM[GMT +8] in the morning.

As Usual, we set aside morning for console gaming!

His Xbox is spoilt like one year ago, though we miss it, there's Wii and it's healthy to play Wii!

Wii! lol....

If my memory serves, we started playing Pokemon Revolution which is like a trading card game except that you cannot collect pokemons but rather default pokemon choices in form of passes.

If you have DS, good for you because you can import pokemons from Pearl to play in this Wii Game.

A bit waste of money because it cost so much with so little features.
--
We unlocked a Rental Pass this morning and then we went to play scrabbles!

It's really rare to use up all the word pieces and so nicely, used by each players turn by turn. It's amazing we can form words with so little and weird array of letters left.

Here's the picture of our final art ;)
Scrabble_game_completed

At night, when we were having dinner, their mother was talking with us.

Here's something we heard, probably old news to you:
A boy committed suicide over CCAs.

That was a shock for me and Johnston, we had not been following the news lately. Apparently, this boy wanted to change his CCA from some uniform group to Drama but his parents refused.
That end up him committing suicide. A bit, rash isn't it, throwing your life over something a bit more on the trivial side. Oh well, I would have preferred if he asked for some advice from some people like his relatives, friends or even teachers. *Shrug*
--
On Tuesday, John and I started drawing the character for the game. The animation was really hard. Just make it look like running is a killer.
We make it until it can fly. The leg detach from it body and 'running' up. LOL? It's really funny.
John said he had a way. Wonder how he's going to do it.....

3 December 2008 @ best Friend's House
Woke up at around 9AM, hmm..a bit later than yesterday.

Today, Johnston and Emelia will be going to a concert with their parents. I'm not going since I did not know about it until when I reach their house :p and they didn't prepared a ticket because they didn't knew I was staying until Friday. I think the first plan was to stay until Wednesday, so by right everything would be just nice. :D
I don't really mind, but I can't feel fear, I mean I'm going to be alone in this house, a big load of trust have been placed on me and something happens to this house when I'm alone. No...I don't want to go there.
But, I feel comforted by their trust. :D
--
But before I tell you what I did when they were away, let me briefly inform you of what we did during the morning and afternoon.

We played Wii! LOL, we went to play Sonic Rider and yeah, I got trashed. Never was a pro and I really forgot how to use the stunts. The shortcuts, ahh!
Johnston had unlocked quite a number of characters the last time we played. Yep! I tried alot of new characters.
Funnily, the last few characters have no voice. As if they were mute. LOL!

Then we played Pokemon again.

Then Emelia woke up and announced that she got CCA today, CO. That meant that we have to buy lunch earlier simply because Emelia need leave early.

I think we ate potato chips that day(wait I think it was Thursay). Unlike my usual trips, I did not buy potato chips and bring to their house.
Several reasons: John said Emelia was sick, and she was during the first few days and John said their family bought alot of potato chips from Malaysia.

And, Emelia recovered on Wednesday night. I think that day we ate Ice-cream.
--
okay, my memory is bad, it's in a mess I simply can't remember what we did on the exact day, I just know what we did. Hahas.
--
Alright, Emelia wants us to walk her to the bus-stop. Well, we complied. No reason to say no, right? :D
Yeah, we're her bodyguards(LOL?)

Ironically, that bus stop is the stop where my Bus '80' stopped halfway on Monday. Fate, man....

And we didn't wait for her bus to arrive before leaving, her friends are at the bus stop to accompany her, would be awkward if we stayed.
--
John and their family have to change some plans because Emelia have CCAs that day. Their original plan was to meet at Raffles Place at 6pm[GMT +8], which Emelia will not be able to make it.

So they changed plans to their parents coming back home to bring them to the concert hall.
--
And thus, I'm alone in this house. But I have plans already. I'm going to watch anime, buy dinner, eat dinner, watch anime, bathe, blog.

Which I did, quite efficiently I must say. LOL.

But I have some bad encounter, the streets of Geylang. Do not walk alone, it has a Aura of uneasiness. Singaporeans should know why. :p

Now I know why cars are that important as a transport. LOL!
--
Halfway, after I bathed and halfway blogging. I heard something downstairs.
Man! I thought there was a burglar but when I went down, slowly and quietly, it was just their aunt. Phew! But opps?, I scared her. LOL!
I thought their aunt went for the concert too but she was working so I guess she cannot go for the concert or something.

Let's clarify some stuffs before you start asking questions, their aunt is like me, staying over at their house at the moment. She sleeps in the guest room which John had spent many hours fixing the bed there.
John and I at that moment sleep in the Computer Room, as usual. ;)
--
Then John's and Emelia's family came back.
Thus, John and I went to play computer. We played Fable. I tried a game too, called "Submarine Titans".
Those who wish to play this game. be prepared, allow no distraction from the real world while playing. This game is intense!
--
Played Fable very late. Extreme Late....
--
4 December 2008 @ John's House
Time passes so fast, it's the second-last day already. *Sigh*

We played Wii! Pokemon game.

We played GAME OF LIFE! I won...LOL....Miracle.
I got a weird job: trade 4 LIFE cards to trade salary, but I got the second-highest salary already. LOL
Emelia got Doctor, highest Salary, as usual.
John got the IT job, gay job, his job as usual.

Then things got interesting. I lost my stocks because market crash and John was complaining why no one 'spoil' the dice because it's his job to 'fix it' and he will get money from it.
Then he trade salary with Emelia because he reach a tile that simply says this in short. Trade Salary. LOL!
Then at that exact next turn, I use 4 LIFE cards and trade with him that salary. Now, I got the highest salary!. Yay!
Then John lost his job, he became an artist. Then Emelia traded salary with me, now I got the lowest salary. Darn!
Then I lost my job and became...the IT job. LOL!
We were saying, John's previous boss fired him to hire me. LOL!
Then they started 'spoiling' the dice. I got quite a amount of money from it and John was wondering why no one 'spoil' it when his job was that. LOL!
Luck, maybe.
In the end, I won. :p
In fact, the only board game I won when I was there. Haiz...LOL!
John won two Boardgames.
Emelia won none. but She got middle for most so she's Runner-up!
--
Emelia needs to go to school. She doesn't want to go, and we started comparing our school Band's practices with each other even though CO have no link to Band. LOL!
But in the end, we managed to convince her to go.
As usual, we walk her to the bus stop. And her friends are there, as usual.

At night, when Emelia came back, she told us one of her friends said John and I suai(in English means handsome). She got a doubtful look. Hahs.
LOL?
Then when their parents came back, she was asking her mother if John is handsome. (wanted to laugh out loud but had to control.)
Wonder what''s the big hype for just someone saying your brother is handsome? LOL!
--
5 December 2008 @ John's House
Last day, so fast!

Haiz....can't bear to leave.LOL...

Well anyway, we played swords-fight, once at their home, Emelia is civilian and we can't kill her, who can kill civilian, will minus score, yer know. LOL!

John and I were swords-fighting when....the civilian got armed and assaulted us!

OMG!

Then we were like running away from the ,YOU CAN'T KILL Person. LOL!

After that we went for lunch and John and I played swordsfight downstairs.

This is with a twist. The defender can use only 1 sword while the attacker can wield 2 swords.
The defender have to protect a item from the attacker, preventing him from getting the item.

The attacker counts to 100 while the defender hides the item.

Each have three lives. If he got slashed three times, a penalty will incur. 10 secs of doing nothing.

I never could find the item. John managed to find it. Haha...

Then the slashing and finding of item is a tiring work. Have to handle the defender while finding the item which could be anywhere.

A few times we had draw, we both ran out of lives at the same time. LOL! Staring at each other for 10 seconds.

FUN! If in the future, more people play would be extreme fun.

Record: we broke around 5 swords that day. LOL!

One time our swords break when we clashed. The force was too great since we slammed at each other from charging at each other.

HAH!

Then we went up to play computer. I tried a new game, 'Casino Tycoon'
Hard to manage but it's fun. :D
Go buy and try!

Then at night, we, including their family, watched a movie, 'My wife is a Gangster 2'.
Funny movie. Hahas.
Then we played for a while then I went home. Sigh.
--
From all 5 days @ John's House
--
We played Heroes almost everyday at night and we can't complete!!!

It's a map made by John and edited by me. The map is simply too big. Couldn't Complete.
--
We played PSP too. John completed a game I couldn't complete. Wow!
He got talent :D
--
Well, that should be all, see ya!
--
NOTE:
I cannot vouch for when the activities occurred, whether it was on a Wednesday or Thursday or something like that. My memory is a bit bad but what I can confirm is the stuffs we did there. Because the stuffs we did are unique, stuffs I had not done for very long and therefore have memorable effect on me. This is why I miss the good 'ld days when we can do such stuffs almost everyday. Of course, with my goods friends ;)

Frens 4ever! Hail KHS '05~ers!

30 November 2008[Settling down at new House]
Woke up late today. Must have been because I slept late yesterday.

Today, I initially plan to go work with my aunt to do fliers. However, after seeing that things are not as planned right now at home, with boxes laying almost everywhere like a sea of cardboard and stuffs to be arranged and kept, I plan to call my aunt to inform her that I’m going to work today but just then, I recalled that my new home had no telephone services yet. Oh bother!

So I had to borrow from my father his mobile phone and call my aunt. My cousin picked up, apparently my aunt is not at home so I asked my cousin to relay the message.

Sigh, $11 lost because my home had not settled down. So sad, haha.

However, I did quite a lot of stuff today, I made my younger sister’s bed, packed all my clothes, found the door lock(which I will discuss later), and lots of arranging of things.

Oh, a bit of background again because, again without the background information you would never understand what I’m talking about, I’m going to stay over at my best friend’s house tomorrow. So looking forward to it, had not seen him for a few weeks? Maybe a month. Hahas.
Going to Johnston’s House is always fun. J
I will talk about it when I come back from this quarter’s trip. You see, I visit Johnston’s house every quarter of the year.

You’re probably wondering why I bother to tell such stuff. You see, normally I would prepare for the stay-over by sleeping early for several days before going to his house and obviously packing clothes. Haha.

This time, the rushed schedule of settling house had caused me to have little sleep recently and worse by now, I had not even packed my clothes and decide what stuff to bring to his house. OMG.

And so the only time I had to pack my clothes for the next day is the time before I sleep. You can say I packed in a haste. I stuffed my PSP, and its charger in because I think John would like to see it. LOL.

I packed in so much in a haste that I almost forgot to bring bath towels and my toothbrush(I only remembered the next day Zzz….)

And the doorlock, yes, almost forgot to mention that. I had to find our old house doorlock as many of us have the key(including me) and would allow me to enter my home when I return next week since I often return at the dead of the night. The current one for the new house would not work as we only have two sets of keys and we needed at least three.

It took me some time to find but in the end, I found stacked deeply in a wardrobe. The freaky thing is that I just felt an instinct to search there all of sudden and I found it where I thought I would find it even though I was not the one who placed it there.

Scary, huh? Guess no one knows how that every happens….

29 November 2008[Moving House]
Today is actual day of me moving house, I have to wake up real early to prepare the boxes, and dismantling of furniture.
In fact, I woke up late (opps?) and my father had to wake me up to help him with the moving of house.

Shortly after waking up, my uncle came. Man, he was very early in fact, around 15 minutes earlier than the appointed time. Oh well, anyway, by coming earlier, he managed to help us a great deal.

To be frank with you guys, our family was not in the least prepared for the moving of house. Stuffs were not packaged for moving, furniture were not dismantled for moving, nor were the fragile stuffs wrapped.

Johnston had said that when he moved to his current home, it took two lorry trips and from morning to 6pm. That’s quite long but you may be interested to know that that is an executive unit which has two floors.

Can my family beat that despite the fact that our new home only has one floor? Let us see, shall we?

The others who are helping us arrived at around 8:09AM [GMT +8], they seem to come at a same time, I wonder why?

Anyway, by that time we’re pretty much too busy to really notice who came at what time so I’m not exactly sure either.

I was dismantling my younger sister’s bed at that moment; the clothes were not packed yet.
Basic Conclusion: We’re in a mess. Yep, we were.

We had to move those boxes and stuff to ground floor where a lorry is waiting for us.
Well, it could mean that most of them came by that lorry which could explain why they reach here at the same time, huh?

Oh well, and so I went ahead of them by walking to my new house (again!…Haiz….) to get ahead of them and open the house and all that to prepare for them to move the stuffs in. In addition, I have been asked by my mother to sweep the grains of rice sprayed with salt out from the corner of the house which she had previously placed on for good luck.
Well, I would call it troublesome but this is the first time I heard that by doing such stuff, good fortune would come to you. A bit strange, I wonder why we never did that in the past?
But that is not all, I’m also asked to cook a kettle of water and leave it boiling, apparently the steam bring good fortune for new homes. Yet another weird thing. I would call it a complete waste of water (and electricity since our kettle runs on it).

Oh, my family is rather strange or should I say too trusting. Now you would wonder why I would say such a thing. Well, the kitchen was not completed on the day when we were moving house. The contractor had earlier said that the kitchen would be done by the day before the actual day we’re moving but apparently they over-promised.
They said that they would come to complete the kitchen today too at 10:00AM [GMT +8] but they were late. In fact, close to two hours late.
Worse, the workers only worked for like half-an-hour and they went for lunch, which thereafter went to sleep right outside of our house. I was like, “WTF!?” Slacking in front of clients. That must have been daring or they really were insane. Or the most possible reason would be, they were poorly trained.

Well, this company is located on Singapore, called Furnishing 25, F25 for short. I would advice that you give maybe two weeks grace before moving house because I got a feeling that they would be 2 weeks late in completing their work.

Because the kitchen was not complete, a lot of furniture could not be placed in there and caused a major jam outside our house as furniture had no places to be placed on.

And the floor was filled with chips of wood pieces and dust due to the construction of the kitchen.

And you know what is the worse part? The kitchen was still not complete, it was halfway done then the manger claimed it is now 6pm[GMT +8] (when it is 5pm only =.=). Total disappointment.

They say they will come back on Monday to continue the work. “WTH!”

And so, in this moving of house, we took around 4 lorry trips(Wow!)
Took us all the way to 1:00AM in the morning(double Wow!)
And we had not finished settling in, beds were not made either, we had to sleep on the floor(Beyond Wow!)

I guess, my family won Johnston then, super amazing , not mentioning the fact that our unit only had one floor when they have two.

Wonder what’s going to happen tomorrow.

P.S: The reason it took me so long to post is that my father forgot to inform the service provider that we’re moving house and I had to handle this kind of stuff and only had internet on the 9/12. :-)

27 November 2008
Ah, this post can be quite confusing without some background which I had not talked about in the previous posts.

So what did I miss out in the previous posts?
I forgot to mention that my parents had decided to move house, a move to a location which is nearer to my school as well as my future younger sister's primary school.

So it's basically moving from Sengkang to Sengkang. Sounds stupid, huh? Well, it does to me especially after they signed a contract to sell the house we're currently living on and buying our new house then someone informed them that actually, our current house is near enough to my younger sister's school to guarantee that my younger sister will have a place in the next year's cohort.(they moved house because they were worried that my younger sister would not be able to enter the primary school because of the location)

One of my friend said it was for a noble cause because it was after all for siblings. And the new house is much nearer to my school now.

But, but, what really piss me is that when they were informed that the current house was near enough to my younger sister's school, they blamed me for not telling them. Even though I had pointed that out to them when they first suggested moving house. =.=
Yeah, everything's my fault. Stupid leroy conspiracy......

Enough of such talks, now to what had happened today...

Today is the day I have looking forward for the past two days. Today, I'm going to jackie's house! It have been a year since I went to his house. Wondered what would happen there.

Well I'm meeting Marcus at Compass Point first at 9:30am[GMT +8] before going together to Jackie's house.

When I woke up this morning, not long after that, my father asked me to move some boxes to our soon-to-be-new house before leaving for Jackie's house. I was like "oh no...this is way bad" but I couldn't possibly say no to my own parents and they had been very kind to let me go. I would feel guilt if I had not helped them.

So I did, since our new house isn't that far to the extent that we had to take a bus to reach there, I will need to walk towards my new house. The distance is slightly further than from my house to my school.

However, I forgot to mention that a trip to and fro would be a tiring chore, so never do that(even though I had did that several times already...)

Since I would be the first to be there at the new house, I need to get from my father the doorcode to open the house door. He gave me the number(no reason not to give, lol).

But I until now don't know whether is my memory sucks, hearing problem or my father simply said the numbers in the wrong order but the number combination did not allow me to enter the house. =.=

Thank god my uncle came to the rescue, he helps in the renovation of the house and therefore knows the doorcode, and I finally can move the boxes in and complete the task given by my father.

With that and severely late for the meeting, I rushed to Compass Point to meet Marcus

Apparently, I was half-an-hour late, a rare case for me since I'm often late for such meetings. Anyhow, Marcus was reading a book when I came. We exchanged books which was traditional for us as he would lend books to me and I would return some books to him while he lends me more books :D

I'm really grateful for the books. So as always, many Thanks, Marcus!!!

Actually, I kind of feel guilty today because I was late for the meeting and he had to read books to wait for me and cause him to be rather moody for the rest of the day.

Anyway, we went to Mac' for breakfast. I had big breakfast for my breakfast and guess what? I had not eaten it since I was primary three. That is way long ago. And I swear during that era the fast food restaurants gave me two beef patties and eggs instead of now which have only eggs and one beef patties.(okay, not to mention bread...)

I feel that they have over-charged me for that Big Breakfast, it's not even big in anyway.....

Then we started to talk about our primary school classmates, about how they are faring right now and that.

After that, it's time to head for Jackie's house. We normally took bus to go to his house but I think Marcus did not have the mood to take bus and instead went to hail a taxi.(Wow?)

And so, we went to a taxi stand and wow, so many people waiting there even if it's early in the morning.

Marcus did have the mood to wait patiently and so called for a cab.
Then I just remembered that my EZ-link card had no more value and had to top-up or else I would never able to go home since I take bus to reach home.
Marcus told me to hurry up before the taxi arrives. And so, I ran. When I came back, with my card value top-upped, the taxi had not arrived yet. Oh wow!

I'm faster than a taxi. HAHAs.

In the taxi, Marcus and I played my PSP.

Then, we reached Jackie's house area, mind you we had not reach his house yet.

The reason being, we had not came to his house for so long that we sorta forgot the address. HAHAs.
By some miracle, we reached his house and was surprised that his dog did not greet us. Later we found out that the dog had been returned to its original owner. Marcus must have been real glad because he is sort of allergic to them.

There were some awkard period of time then Jackie started to comment on how tall I grew(even his mother said so...=.=)
Then Jackie went to switch on his playstation two to let us play but apparently the ganes I brought cannot be read by it and some of his disc cannot be read as well(I think the console is spoilt, no I refuse to acknowledge that my discs are spoilt :p)

So we went to play starcraft, a RTS game I have playing since young and therefore Marcus did not want to play because he claim that the winner is very obviously me because I had plenty experience.

Well, I'm not sure what to say but I did win in the end. LOLz. Marcus and Jackie were Protoss while I was Terran. I nuked Jackie to death and sent full force to Marcus base after he attacked me.

After that, it was time for lunch and shortly after that Zhi Wen arrived. So sad Jia Zing and Jia He cannot make it.

So in the end, we played cards. This is like way sad, how come nowadays all the outings we end p playing cards. Haiz...oh well.

Then we had tea break, pandan cake! I eat almost half of it I think and Marcus was commenting how come I can stay skinny even when I eat so much. Then he went on to say Jackie because Jackie slimmed down over the years. These left Marcus and I think that made him slightly depressed since Jackie and I kept teasing him about his weight and size.

Then we went on to talk about how our primary schoolmates fared again.
Apparently tze siang dropped to Combined science which is very shocking because he used to win me in exams.

I heard Zhi Ping topped in his class and also in school for one subject. So pain....

and many more.......

After that, we went back to playing abit of stuffs before going home.

Ah, tomorrow is the actual moving house day. Going to be extreme busy. Hahas.

Cya!

17~25 November 2008
Right, by looking at the date range, you would be screaming "OMG..this post going to be long.."

Well, you may be right, or wrong. Let's see, shall we?

Okay, during this period, I got a part-time job from my aunt as a flier boy.

This kind of flier is the door-to-door kind one, which means that you have to give a flier in front of the resident's door. And that means you have to basically walk to all the house units in that area to give out fliers.

Yeah, more tiring than simple flier job like letterbox-spam or giving out fliers at a fixed position somewhere in a public area but this flier job is more rewarding in the sense that the pay is higher.

You see, 500 pieces $11 compared to other flier jobs 1000 pieces $10. The difference is so obvious right?

So where did I give out in my fliers? I went to give out at Punggol(Singapore).

It looked so small in the map(lol) but when you actually went door-to-door, you can actually almost walk til very tired. (to the extent you can drop dead :p)

I mean, the norm is 17 floors with 6 units each. walk til I almost want to sleep(opps?) HAHAs...

My uncle will always say we(me and cousin) give out very little fliers because we only do 500 when he does 1000. (opps?)

We lazy, welcome to the new generation of life. HAHAs.....

But hey I worked for so many days and earned quite a bit of amount of money. That I'm way happy!

Oh yeah, I not sure I have said this before but we took very long to finish even 5oo pieces in a day. Want to know why? You would probably understand after I explain....

First, after each block, we would meet at a nearby bench and just rest(or slack if you prefer) for several minutes. The longest we sat there and chat was around half-an-hour. During this period, we could have completed close to two blocks which would be around 200 pieces of fliers.

Secondly, whenever we went near any shopping plaza or supermarket, we would go shopping there for food and beverages. Hahas, would spend around ten minutes walking around inside the supermarket.

And so, we took so much more time to complete a simple less than two hours to distribute 500 pieces.

And now, a picture of the flier that I distributed for my part-time job:
Flier for Marvis

Right, this pretty much covered everything for what had happened during this period(the important ones, at least).

Now on to what had happened on the next day....
