Numb my Soul

Wednesday, August 26, 2009
Secret War Journal[26 August 2009]

Let's face it, I'm no Rand Al'Thor. I can't steel myself(which is probably a good thing.)

So I will try another approach. I'm going to stuff my myself, overwhelming myself with loads of work. Be it studies or personal work. I figure it's better than not being numb from other emotions(which I will be screaming in agony at school every single day until after "O" Levels Examinations)

So I hope you guys don't take it the wrong way when my face has a an indifferent look. :p

Card Writing Session@Skool
Right, it's been some time since I last talked about my class.

Today, we had PC(Pastoral Care) Lessons and it was rather strange(though unique).

We're suppose to write a card to encourage(or compliment) a random classmate in our class. This is done by balloting.

Shortly after the balloting session started, Ms Tan discovered that one lot(which meant a classmate) was not included in the balloting. Hahas.

So, the balloting restarted, with that missing lot included, of course. Kind of wonder why no one find this amusing, Ms Tan was more concerned about hurting a classmate's feelings that he or she was not included in it. Well, for this case, I don't think anyone would mind. No very serious to the point of discrimination so no damage done. (I guess)

Hey, I'm an naive kid. ;)

Anyway, Ying Ying got chosen to write the card to me:
Card of Goodwill
Okay...so Ying Ying used this opportunity to praise herself too.(god, she's thick-skinned)

And I don't see how being Geek is an compliment(in her sense...)...Oh well...

Well, at least it sounds positive(this coming from her, wow! I mean I half-thought she would insulting me geek all the way. Hahas. Opps?). I mean yeah, it's good to feel appreciated. Thanks.

I don't understand why she had to hold back on the good wishes on Maths and Sciences!
(what's with the misconception that I'm good at those subjects???!!!) =.=
Yeah, I really need it for Chinese. Hahas. :p (thanks)

O.o...Oooo..I like the mouse-becoming-Kangaroo part. Novel. It's hilarious. That made my day... Hahas...

Overall, a thank you to you(to Ying Ying).
Okay, after saying that out loud, I realised how strange that sounded but it's the thought that counts, right?

Update on the day before Start of Prelim 3
I'm about two-thirds done for my mugging(yes, I'm not considering it as revision)  for Geography. Tomorrow's the day. I'm left with err..roughly 2 hours to mug before the Prelims officially starts.

Which would be roughly the time the dices start spinning...

Price of Success

Secret War Journal[25 August 2009]

Let's be frank. I had actually planned to screw up for Prelim 2. Yes, bad of me but at least hear me out first. The problem of getting too high a grade(especially that of Prelim One) so early before the main(and important) examination, which would be the "O" Levels Examinations, would cause complacency. So I figured after I should not score as well for Prelim  2 so as to use that as lasting warning that I should not slack and work hard for Prelim 3 and of course, ultimately "O" Levels Examinations.

Well, looking back(at the results). I would say the first phase plan went well. Too well. The warning hit me so hard that I had actually thought of giving up and lift my hand up helplessly. So hard that I felt there was no meaning in continuing the fight.

No, this is the moment. The moment to strike back(I hope). Have to. Must. I need to persevere.  The next phase of Plan is about to begin. It's either a complete success or complete failure. A morale boost or a lasting defeat. It's time to reset the Chess Board, time to take back what was taken. It's time.

Of course, Prelim 3 would be the penultimate indicator of how successful my plan is. So only time will tell.

Meanwhile, I need words of Encouragement, not words of insult(which THEY're good at. =.=. Okay, there are exceptions...)
Boy, I miss my primary six class. Oh well, guess I'm on my one for this battle.
On the side tone, I'm halfway prepared for Geography with a crash course tomorrow. I have revised for the other subjects. Most of them anyway, for some reason I seems to have missed out Geography in my Revision Plan(a blunder, yes)

Hmm..Enough time to salvage the damage from this abnormal leaving out of one subject, I guess. Tomorrow would require major memory work. (*Battle Cry*)

Talk about thirst of revenge.
Talk about restoring pride.
Talk about Stress.

Grr...

P.S: Notice that I started to post on the daily basis again? Yeah, only for the moment. I need a platform to distress since I decided to stop gaming.(yes, it's about time). I need a platform to organise my thoughts. Where else but a journal? Hahas.

Anyway, I reverting back to my "Moral Mirror" Policy. I really see no point in giving people words of goodwill and encouragement when they never every offer once to me. Of course, as part of the policy, I will still give those to those who always had given me a helping hand. ;) Don't worry guys, I had never forgotten the help you offered me! :D

P.P.S: Hahas, and thanks to Hai Jin for your words of encouragement in the past. ;)

Hobey ho! And so we go!

Wa...I sort of predict this is going to be a long post.. Brace yourselves! ;)

NCHS Prelims 2 Pt3 [2009]
This will be the final time I will be talking about this, I mean ain't you guys bored of talking the same old topic for the past three posts?!

Since some people are curious about the details, so I will oblige with this picture which will explain on behalf of me. :D
NCHS Prelims 3 Results

English Oral
Okay, back on track. First things first, my "O" Levels English Language Oral Examination.

One word, Horrible.

Elaborate? I screwed up.

At least I feel I did. LOL. I really hate being the first few students to take the oral Examination(mine was on the very First day, =.=)

Some people said the topic on that day was the easiest so far. I, on the other hand, think not. It's so difficult, so uniquely special that I totally had a shock.

Talk about oral blues...Brr...

Before you start screaming at me for not telling you what the topic was(please don't scream), I will share with you guys. ;)

Topic: Holiday/Shopping

Sounds easy? Think again.

Question 1: Tell me about a far-off place you've been to or a place you want to go.
Question 2: How do you like to shop?

Question one was manageable slight because I sort of overheard the question when I was in the waiting area which in turn allow me time to prepare for this question. Quite a number of us overheard too, talk about flaws of having an oral examination in an enclosed area.

Question two was in every way twisted beyond comprehension. The addition of the word "How" adds depth and bring complications. I got a feeling I did not even answered their question. (Which is probably why I think I screwed up...)

On top of that, our examiners on that day was horrible. Luckily for me, this incident happened after I left the exam hall.

As told by Angeline...[Adapted]
For starter's, we have two examiners who are invigilating us(try to imagine...). On the left was a woman, and on the right a man.
Halfway while Angeline was answering the question, the man dozed off. (Yes, appealing)
Shocked, Angeline stood up and rose her voice, (subtly, of course) so as to 'indirectly' wake the man up. The man, of course, woke up and smiled back to her. (Daring)
From the looks of it, the man sounds indifferent. O.o

Another incident, as told by Christopher and many others [Adapted]
There were rumours about another pair of examiners that day, that one of them muttered a swear word.
And many agreed and witnessed that on one occasion after a student finished his/her oral, the woman(the same) sprinted off. Some said that she was heading for a loo.(reasonable) while others say she couldn't stand it anymore(which is not so reliable)
What angered me was not the fact that the man(the one who slept) dared to sleep but the fact that he did not even made an attempt to stay awake. I don't mind yawning(it helps the brain) because that's hard to contain but sleep? There's so many ways to stay awake. Drinking coffee or tea, for starter's and those WERE provided.

Tsk Tsk...

Wohoo!

Okay, don't get the wrong idea, I did not get A1 or A2 but I'm happy all the same!

Yeah, just some random people because I'm lazy to ask the rest.

In case you're wondering, those little letters next to the grades are the Paper 3 grades.
(P) = Pass
(M) = Merit
(D) = Distinction

Note: Paper 3 cannot only be taken once, hence these grades are pretty much permanent and hence so important in your decision in whether you wish to re-take at the end of the year.

Congrats to those who got A1 (which is half of my class!) :D

Checking of SGC
If I'm not wrong, SGC means Singapore Graduation Certificate. This certificate is awarded to you when you graduate from Secondary School. The graduating classes were asked to check for errors, during this week, in the Draft Version of the SGC so that our SGC would be nice and perfect when we officially receive it. :D

Here's how it looks like:
Cover Page of SGC
This is the cover page, some information has been removed due to privacy. ;)

The next page would be a blank page, followed by your "O" Levels Result.

Moving on, the following page would be your CCA Achievements and your CCA Grades.

The following picture is also not finalised(Because I'm still aiming for A1! Hahas!)
SGC [CCA Records]

Finally, this last page will be written by your teachers who assessed you and write a testimonial of your qualities, which may be useful when you want to enter certain schools. ;)
SGC [Personal Qualities]

Revisit: Primary One Registration
At the request of my cousin, I'm coming back to this topic for an update!

It has been confirmed not more than 2 days ago that my younger sister is successful in applying for Anchor Green Primary School!

But my family was too overjoyed to miss something - The orientation day, which was 3 days ago...

Yep, so we totally missed it, now the burning question is: Is my younger sister still successful in applying into that primary school? Guess we'll only find out when Monday comes...

Now we need divine intervention.

Overreaction
This hilarious incident happened today!

As told from my dad...[Adapted]
Today, my father dropped my Mother at the MRT Interchange at the dropping area so that my Mother can go to work. As my father wants to leave, he reverses and hit someone's car door.
(as to whether to the car door was already open or not is in doubt)
The driver, whose car was hit, came out and demand compensation from my dad. Thinking that the damage was severe, my father went out to take a look and assess the damage. To his amazement, it was hardly a scratch(if you can even consider that a scratch)
Damage? A tiny speck of paint from MY DAD's car was rubbed on to the other party's WHITE car. Now then, the white car's stained. Sounds serious, huh? My father went to rub on it, and the paint disappeared, or should I say flaked off.

Continuing the tale, the driver was pissed and demanded to claim from my father to have his car fixed(which was pretty much fixed by my father's handing rubbing off the paint...)

Obviously, this was too minor a damage to use insurance claim to repair. Hence, my father offered money as compensation instead and asked how much was the driver needs to fix it(LOL.)

To my father's horror, the driver demanded SGD 50 for the repair. (!!! Day-light Robbery!)
Luckily, my father refused and went off. The driver tailed my father back home(sounds like stalking to me...)

That's when I laughed. I mean, he actually chased my dad for such a trivial thing. LOLS!

When my father left the car, the driver called my dad to stop and give him my dad's IC. The driver said that my father was being ungentlemanly because he hit-and-run and all that stuff.

My father left him to his own devices and returned home.
You know, I got a feeling that the driver was using this opportunity to get money from my dad. With the context of recession now, who knows what people are capable of? But this is a first, demanding $50 for a paint-plating for such a small area. WOW. Just plain wow.

Worse, the driver's car was parked illegally, yet he had the cheek to demand compensation when my father was just dropping my mother for work. (I mean duh, that's a drop-off point?)

LOL. Recession makes people do funny things.

Phew! Long, isn't it? I even cut off some parts of my dad's story to make it shorter! For example, there was a mediator(an old man) who tried to resolve the commotion.

Well, next week would be my Prelims 3. another trial, another period of boredom. Until next week then...

I foresee that this post will be rather long, so bear with me. ;)

Prelims 2 Marks 2009 Part 1
So far, I'm not very happy with my results.
  • Chemistry -- 59.2 [C5]
  • Combined.Humans -- 69 [B3]
Not a single A yet! OMG! I fared really badly for these two subjects. I feel so sad. Chemistry, I can understand but combined.humans?

This is like Secondary One all over again. Argh. I need to see As. (Someone help me pray for As for the rest of the subjects. ;)

On the bright side, Mrs Hay said that my Chemistry marks should be rounded up to 60[B4]
Then it won't be so bad.

And I'm in the process of claiming one mark for my Combined Humans. Wish me luck on that. :D

English Paper 2

I got it back and the results weren't as disappointing as the other two aforementioned. I scored 32/50. I was not expecting to get the top position for this Paper 2 for my class(still not confirmed! Hahas)

Anyway, I hope my Paper 1 would be just as good, then my english would have improved way lots! Hahas.

And on top of that, this prelims would be memorable. Wanna know why? Because....
Page 1 of English Paper 2 QuestionsPage 2 of English Paper 2 Questions
That's right! I wrote some funny answers on the Question Paper. I'm quite proud of it.

Please note, however, that these are not model answers and should not be used as learning aid or for educational purposes. There are simply meant for entertainment. ;)

Elementary & Additional Mathematics Paper 1
  • E.Maths -- 72+1/80
  • Add.Maths -- 62/80 (I think, I sort of forgot)
Here's something I think is funny(okay, that was evil of me)

I wanted to claim 2 marks from Mrs.Sim because she marked Cynthia's Answer(which is same as mine) correct but mine wrong. So I went over and it turned out that the answer was wrong(talk about false hope) and I sort of made Cynthia's marks reduced by 2 marks(my bad!)

But I need to thank her on one matter, because she lost two marks, she argued for one mark to be claimed due to method marks. Since she got the one mark, I got it too(Because I had that method too, hahas).

So her marks overall were reduced by one while mine was added one mark. Sounds like she sort of 'transferred' one mark to my paper. Hahas. (okay, should not laugh at people's mishap)

Let me clarify, I'm laughing on the way I got one extra mark. ;)

The Day there was Biology
That exams portion took you so long to reach here and guess what? It was just the beginning. (Told you this post would be long ;)

Next up, on Tuesday, my class and some other classes have no school on that day because of the fact that we have no exam papers on that day and hence we decided to go out and relax.

People who went(with me):
  1. Christopher
  2. Jing Ting, Jaytii
  3. Lai Yin
  4. Yan Zhi
This time, we have fewer people. Vanessa was feeling unwell and hence she did not come with us.

Well, it turned out that Vanessa still went out that day, with Bernice and co. She claimed that she recovered overnight(yes, hard to believe) and so can go out. Well, no matter what she claims(whether it was true or not), we have to respect her decision so no hostility there when we spotted her. Hahas.

After that, we went to Bugis for Lunch. Actually, I had lunch before meeting them but I ate all the same. Hahas. Of course, I did not order a full meal set. Just some side orders, which was just some garlic bread.
They decided to dine in "PastaMaina" for some pasta. I must admit, that was my first time dining there and I wasn't very impressed.(Partly because I don't really like pasta)
Nevertheless, they had a great meal and we went off to accompany Lai Yin to buy her musical tool(s), whatever that was.

So, you would be wondering, what's the freaking highlight of this outing? Obviously, our aim was not to wander around in the streets of Orchard. In fact, we haven't even reached out final destination yet. Yan Zhi was still not with us. (Surprised?)

Next Stop: HarbourFront
Yep! Insane as it sounded, I thought it was insane, we're heading towards VivoCity. Yes, the land of HarbourFront, on the opposite side of Sengkang, the great journey from the North to the East to the South. Ahh! We were really insane then. Hahas.
Now, of all places, where VivoCity, and why so far?

The reason lies with Jaytii - She wanted to watch a movie. In 3D(ah, the catch).
As to why this cinema, beats me. I'm pretty sure that isn't the only cinema in Singapore that offers 3D movies...

Oh well, so we go..the movie...:D

Ice Age 3: Dawn of Dinosaurs

Poster for Ice Age 3
Cute little poster, hahas. Basically, the 3D effects were really a let-down. Not much worth noting effects inside which is why I feel that we should had just watched in a normal movie environment. Sigh, I was expecting more...

As for the story, it's rich, funny and fresh. For that, I urge you all to watch this movie(if you hadn't)

P.S: I used my handphone on that day. Ironic, huh?

Interview Skills Seminar
On 31 July 2009, our school invited NanYang Polytechnic to host Seminars for our graduating classes. I chose "Interview Skills" Seminar which I found enriching, hence I do not regret going to that class.

Basically, we were offered the following choices:
  1. Business
  2. Roller-Coaster Engineering(something like that)
  3. Interview Skills
  4. Infocomm Technology
  5. Life Sciences
  6. Media and Information Technology
Our class was rather special, majority of us went for Interview skills. The rest of the classes mostly rooted for Business.

Unless I can split myself into many pieces, I did not attend the other 5. So, I can only discuss about the Seminar that I attended.

  • It is not advisable to put in your school grades unless they were superb. Else, it serves no purpose.
Fighting Interview Fears

  8. Remember that during some parts of the interview, you will be in charge.
  9. Remember that you are also assessing the interviewer, and his or her organisation. This should give you confidence. (For e.g. assessing their culture)

Secret War Journal [26 July 2009]

Sunday, July 26, 2009
It's been a long time, how are you guys? I hope life's good because this week hadn't been so good for me. Hahas...

This week had been packed with Examinations and more Examinations. (lols...)

On top of that, this Wednesday, we had "O" Levels Chinese Listening Comprehension. I should have every reason to feel stressed right? Hahas...

"O" Levels Chinese Listening Comprehension
So, I guess let me start on what happened on Wednesday then...

Ironically, on this day, the World witnesses the Longest Solar Eclipse ever occurred. The whole of Singapore missed it, wow.
You would be wondering why the whole of Singapore(, shouldn't it be only the "O" Levels Candidates?). Well, on the Wednesday Morning, which is around 8~9AM, it rained. Well that's partial darkness for us. (Laugh out loud!)
For my class, we never figured when the eclipse occurred so yeah, we lucked out (big time)

But on the bright side, we had no lessons on that day. The School decided to let us relax before going for the Examinations. I heard from some teachers that this is the first time the School did that and they were trying to figure out why the school made this strange move after so many years. My answer to them would be: Who knows? Hahas...

On the not-so-bright side, we got back our Chemistry Paper 1 for Prelims 2.

Boy, the class screwed up. Only one-third of the Class(excluding people who are taking Combined.Sciences) scored above 30 out of 40. Which is disappointing. Even more disappointing is that, I'm not the few who got 30 or above. T.T

I got only 28!!! AHHHH!!!!
(Okay, I know 28/40 is A2 grade but I want A1!!! AHH~!!!)

So yeah, the class got lectured by Mrs Hay. Nice backdrop for day of National Examinations, huh? Guess not.

So I guess I can kiss my Ai-grade for my Chemistry goodbye. Haiz...
--
I have the Question Paper for the Listening Comprehension since they allow candidates to keep it. But I won't be showing it here because of Copyright issue. Duh? Hahas.

Anyway, I feel that the Paper was very difficult. So I'm just hoping that I scored at least 14/20. I would be leaping with joy that I reach that goal.
Hopefully, I do not need to re-take my Chinese at the End of this year. :D

NCHS Prelims 2 Pt2
This week, I took quite a number of examinations:
  1. Elementary Mathematics Paper 1 & 2
  2. Compared to the first Prelims, this paper is much easier and Mrs Sim had mentioned that we did well for Paper 1. Paper 2 was not known because she had not marked finish.
  3. Chemistry Paper 1 & 2
  4. Chemistry Paper 2 was a killer and I thought Chemistry Paper 1 was easier. With my Paper 1 so badly done, I doubt my Paper 2 would be anyway near better...
  5. Additional Mathematics Paper 1 & 2
  6. Same as Prelims One...Paper 1 easier than Paper2. Hope I did not screw it up like the first Prelims...
  7. Physics Paper 1 & 2
  8. Gee, what can I say, the paper should be easy but I think my answers are filled with careless mistakes. So I'm good as dead.
Which leaves one last paper for me to tackle: Geography. My weakest subject, you can say. Oh great. Yeah. I'm proud to say that revision should be half done. :D

But I still think I will screw it up. Best not get hopeful. Haha...

Wish me luck! Because I would really need it.
The Wrong Signboard
Next up, here's a queer thing that happened. ;)

Remember the shop that my family set up? It turns out that a typo occurred at the Signboard. It wrote "Quenna" instead of "Queena"
And guess what, neither my father nor me spotted it. I should have realised it because I was advertising it on Facebook and used the Signboard as the logo in there. And the thumbnail wrote "NN" right in front of me.
I can't believe I did not register the problem! Stupid me!

Well, thankfully, my stepmother spotted it and the problem is dealt with(I think). ;)

Which is why I changed the Logo for the Facebook group too. ;)
The Lift Encounter
Another queer thing happened recently would be about the right-hand-side elevator.

On this day after a stressful examination, I reached the Lift Lobby. The Right-hand-side lift doors opened and I entered. So far so good. ;)

I pressed my Storey number and pressed the button to close the door.

Everything was fine until the lift door could not close. Okay, let me rephrase that, the lift door could close fully but it does not move up but open the door again.(only to close it again)

Yep, just imagine a mouth that opens and close. That freaked me out. I was worried I would be trapped in this lift. (God, why me...) I pressed the "Close Door" Button so that I can somehow move up.

Well, that failed. :o

My next move was to press the "Door Open" button. Hahas...Well it opens it doors alright, only to close it again moments later. LOLS...

Now that's one freak lift, so I sort of time it and exit when the Doors are open. I jumped out, literally. Phew! I thought I would be crushed by those doors, given my fragile body. I'm so freaking glad I'm thin! Wohoo!

But that's not all, the freaky thing is that the moment I left the lift, it closed its doors and launched off...leaving me on the Ground Floor...

=.=
Talk about rejection...

Since the lift on the right-hand-side was moving up, when I pressed for a lift, the left-hand-side lift came for me. Nothing funny happened to me, thank the gods.

As to why the 'rejection' occurred, I have no absolute idea. Subsequent trips using that lift gave no problems. It was a one-out-of-million chance for that to happen, I guess.

Well, just to be safe, avoid using that lift. If needed, just be on guard, the lift's spooky...
Epilogue
All right! That's all, folks! Gotta go now and continue revising for my Examination tomorrow! Until next week! ;)

Saturday, May 30, 2009
What a week! I could have sworn this was the most boring week I ever experienced in my entire life! I will tell you why in a few moments but first...

Results[Part 2]
Guess what? I forgot that students are given back their result slips on the last day of school (partly because I was not aware the school term was ending...)

So to make things convenient for you and myself, I decided to show you the finalized results of all my subjects. There have been some changes to my marks since the last time I posted. :o

So as you can see, my L1R5 is 13. Even though I got 3rd in Class and 15th in school, my performance for most subjects have dropped, with only Chemistry, E.maths, and Chinese improved. Like I said last time, my A.Maths was tragic. Not to mention English now...

Anyway, being 3rd in class symbolise nothing except the addition of stress of maintaining that ranking. (With many plotting to overtake me now, and I cannot be complacent as there are still many Prelims to go and most importantly the "O" Levels)

So, all in all, my life just got more complicated and less enjoyable but the feeling is good, though not as good as I thought. I don't exactly feel a sense of accomplishment, maybe I will only get that if I score well for my "O" Levels Examinations...

Meanwhile, life goes on, upcoming would be my Chinese "O" Levels Examination(the one I least confident about) which will fall on the very first day of June Holidays(this Monday...). This is then followed up by several Science Practical Assessment Practices on that very same day(Practically screaming now).
On the fourth day of my Holidays would be my Physics Science Practical Assessment. On the sixth day of my Holidays would be my Chemistry Science Practical Assessment. My life is getting sadder by the month.

If you ask me why I sound so depressed, I believe I had been hearing too many bad news. Science Teachers are pressing those who did not score well for the examinations(though I'm not one of them) to drop to combined Science. The way they preach was like they want the entire class to drop, which is depressing. And another blow to morale would be some of my class 'elites' are also considering to drop to Combined Science. =.=
Actually, I feel that the more 'elites' that are dropping to Combined Science, all the more you should not drop, because there would be fierce competition there. (ha!)

But case in mind, I cannot afford to drop. Yes, I'm in a perilous situation, if I ever drop to Combined Science, I'm as good as dead. And here comes the element of risk, if I do not score well for Pure Sciences for my "O" Levels Examination, I'm as good as dead too.
Ah, the irony.

Now, to explain why this week had been boring.

Because of the upcoming Chinese "O" Levels Examination, I have been revising Chinese for the entire week! I mean, I actually revised! First time for my entire lifetime! Wow.

And the time used was not exactly wasted, I feel that I am finally of the Primary School Chinese Standard! Woot! I feel so accomplished! But yeah, I'm a secondary student which means I'm so screwed through and through. Sigh.

My Chinese Teachers wants the entire class(including me) to get A1 but personally, I'm aiming for A2. Getting that would be best marks for Chinese since I stepped into Secondary School Life. O.o

Why can't life be without obstacles and challenges? I guess that what makes life so fun...

Sometimes, I can't help but wonder what will happen after taking my "O" Levels Examination. To many, it is the end of the dark tunnel they had been in. But it seems to me that the exit is just as grey(uncertain). So my question after taking the last paper would be: "Okay, now what?"

Would I panic over the potential risk of me not scoring well or would I be pleased with my performance and enjoying life? I guess it's about my mentality then...

Oh great, I feeling even more sad now. I'm starting to feel a cloud of 'DOOM' above me. (I was kidding, serious!)

Oh, before I forget. My school is organising a prom night for us after our examinations! How cool is that?
Okay, being me, I'm not exactly very happy some details about the prom night(which is why I'm undecided on whether to attend). We read much about Prom Night in Foxtrot but whatever.

I'm not happy about:
  1. The food - they seriously need to amend, the food selections are a disaster.
  2. The time - it's too early for me to decide! What if something coped up?
  3. The Venue - the cool management team still could not decide on a venue *Roll eyes*
  4. The Dress Code - no one knows, it's a grey area. *Roll eyes*
  5. The Games - Once again, no one knows, yet another grey area. *Roll eyes*
  6. Money - like everything, money is a factor. It cost a whopping SGD$60 for entrance fee(ouch.) Not to mention the clothings that I may need to buy. Thankfully, as of now, money is not an important factor (yet)
  7. The prizes - I don't need prizes, so why am I paying for the prizes? *Roll eyes*
  8. Too many unknowns - as shown above, there are many things that...no one knows...
So yeah. 'Wow', just plain 'wow'. You got to love the Management for this. 'Seriously'. *Roll eyes*

I so hope I did not waste my 60 dollars in the event I decided to attend.

Alright, this post is getting too lengthy, so I'm ending it with this:

TO ALL SINGAPORE SECONDARY GRADUATING STUDENTS THIS YEAR,
I WISH YOU GUYS GOOD LUCK FOR CHINESE "O" LEVELS EXAMINATION!!!

P.S: That includes me ;)

With that, I thank you for reading this super-unusually-long post. =]

End of Mid-Year Examinations 2009 cum Prelims One
Wee! It finally ended! It felt like an eternity for it to just end. Not to mention the further extension of examinations with the inclusion of Chinese Mock Examination during Marking Day.

Just plain horrible.

Nevertheless, it took me so long to finally give you this post, so I am able to give my results for some of the papers that I took back. ;)

Results[Part 1]
They are sorted by chronologically order.
Chinese
  1. Paper 1 -> 46/70
  2. Paper 2 -> 44.5/70
  3. Paper 3 -> 14/20
Total => 65.3/100 [B3]
Additional Mathematics
  1. Paper 1 -> 61/80
  2. Paper 2 -> 56/100
Total => 64.9/100 [B4]
Physics
  1. Paper 1 -> 31/40
  2. Paper 2 -> 62/80
Total => 77.5/100 [A1]
Chemistry
  1. Paper 1 -> 27/40
  2. Paper 2, Section A -> 39+1/50
  3. Paper 2, Section B -> 23/30
Total => 75.0/100 [A1]

So yeah, my maths was done extremely badly, I completely screwed up my paper 2. Horrible. So right now, I 'm hoping for English to have B4; E.maths, Combined.Humans to have A1 so as to maintain my L1R5 of 11. Wish me luck! ;)

Return of Parents
Just for background information: My parents recently flew to Hong Kong(yes I'm aware that there have Swine Flu, beats me why they still want to go) just to collect some goods and have a vacation.

And after so many days, they're coming back this night. Not any night, but tonight(Yeah, I'm being lame)
And guess what? I'm supposed to tag along with my younger siblings to watch some pathetic dog cartoon movie. (It better be worthwhile.)

In other news, The last book to the Pendragon Adventures is out! Go buy and let me read. Hahas!

I wonder when will I ever have the time to enjoy life again. The "O" Levels took so much time of our life. Haiz...Anyway, good luck to all students taking exams!(including myself :P)

Til Next week! Hahas. ;)

Happy Mother's Day 2009~!

Well, my family celebrated Mother's Day last week.

Sidenote:
To be frank, I did not even know Mother's day was near until I was informed by my father. And I thought last week was Mother's Day. Cynthia said I was evil. Even Penny agrees. Hahas. Hey, I am a crude guy who don't bother to remember Father's or Mother's Day. Why bother showing filial piety to your parents on only one day? Shouldn't you be exercising it every single day?
Anyway, last week's celebration was rather fun. The main thing funny that happened there was Qi Xian purposely mixing up the crabs and prawns.
So there we are, saying prawns are crabs and vice versa. This started off when Qi Xian kept saying every single dish coming up would be crab and on one occasion, it turned out to be prawns. Of course, being 'cruel' cousins we are, we laughed at him and throughout the entire meal, we referred the prawns as crabs and crab as prawns.

And we were like saying, "The prawns nowadays are so large and the crabs so small now"

Really funny. ^^

Now for updates on school affairs: Exams --> Prelims

I had two papers recently:
  1. Chinese
    1. Paper 1 was challenging
    2. Paper 2 seemed easy but utterly no confidence
    3. Paper 3 was just confusing

  2. English
    1. Paper 1 was average, slightly nervous. I wrote about 'Acceptance'
    2. Paper 2 was finished too fast to my liking, I had spare time even after rewriting my summary 2 times. I believe I have insufficient points for my summary. So overall, Paper 2 was difficult.
And I got back some of my tests before the official launch of Prelims:
  • A.Maths Paper -> 70/100 (Pity I did not get A1)
  • Physics -> 20.5/50 (Yes, I'm aware I wrote that I got 20/50 from my previous post)
  • History -> 11/12 (WohoO!)

Now to something more about current affairs.

Swine Flu
Okay, I know that this is not its official name anymore but I think "Swine Flu" sounds more cool that H1N1 Influenza A.
Overall, I'm glad that Swine Flu acts much more like seasonal flu than deadly. That changes things a lot down here. Several drastic measures had been taken in my school which shifted our examination from the Examination Hall to our respective classrooms. It's a disappointment, I like the feeling of being the Examination Hall despite it being too cold and other stuffs.
However, it is a good thing that Singapore was not affected. The measures taken by the Government and involved communities proved to be successful and prevent the spread of Swine Flu.
They also succeeded in not causing general public panic during the crisis. For that, I believe that they deserve praise.

Arrest of Mas Salamat
This is really recent and I feel that his arrest is a great morale boost to those combating terrorism. This shows that despite some being able to escape, they would eventually be captured once more.
But this issue is a rather sensitive one. Hence, I will not go too in-depth on this subject.

Right, I need to sleep now. My next paper would be on Additional Mathematics, wish me luck! ^^

Today is Labour Day cum May Day.

Ah, the sweet, bitter, sour taste of air. I wonder why.

Sweet -> Today's a public holiday
Bitter -> Tons and tons of homework in store for me.
Sour -> Exams are super duper near.

The sad reality of life, isn't it?

Moving on, I took some tests for this week and frankly, I don't feel confident that I will ace the papers at all. Haiz...I want to know why...

A.MAths Test:
  • Did not finish the paper in time
  • Did not know Q9 existed until the end of test.
  • Lost 17 marks from blank questions
  • Not counting careless mistakes(if any)
History Test:
  • Spent most of my time revising on maths.
  • Personally feel that my second paragraph was too short
So how? I am not sure in any way. Pray for me. Many thanks!

Moving on, I came across some interesting articles on Movie Reviews. Here's one!
Funny reviews for movies!
Note: Click to enlarge, and file size is 2.03MB (yes, ouch) The price of being in full colour...

Oopsie! Look at the time, I need to go down to meet Jing Ting, Yan Zhi, Christopher, Lai Yin, Vanessa, Angeline, Bernice, Donovan, Bernice, and Yvonne to play Kite. Will update some time later about what happened. :p

Hi! My Prelims are coming soon so this will one of few last(most likely) posts before I start revising for exams massively.

Hahas. Anyway, the reason that prompt me to post today is that I got several stuffs to share with you guys. =]

First up, my class recently had several tests(and more this week, =.=). Some of the results are back! They are:
  1. Chemistry Test -> 20/25
  2. A.Maths Test -> 94/100 (Top in class! Tie with Dolly!)
  3. Physics Test -> 20/25(as claimed by Mr Goh)
And my class won first place for International Friendship Day Noticeboard Decoration Competition for Secondary 4/5! Special Congratulations to class 4D!!!(that's my class ;)

Hey, I helped out too, albeit just some. So I, as do the rest, get some share of the prize! :D

And today's Photo-taking for CCA!

I wonder how am I going to get hold of the pictures but I assure, I got a feeling that the picture would be either comical or nice! =]

Wanna know why? Mr Goh recently came back with a fractured arm and the whole club(alright, I admit, I co-administrated it) decided to act as if we had an fractured arm and took the picture for the candid shot. What fun!

The best part was that Mr Goh was kind enough to play along and helped made the movement a success. =]

And I said at that moment, we should change our club to the 'Disabled Club'. Mr Goh replied that it should be the 'one-hand club' LOLs?

And guess what? This is the first time I sat on the first row for photo-taking. Oh wait, was it really first time. Oh well, maybe second time. =]
I mean me being sort of tall, it's kind of amazing that I have the chance to sit at the first row and stand on the last row in my lifetime for photo-taking. ;)
Some kind of achievement, huh. Hahas, yeah, me and my ideas.

Moving on, our photo-taking session was super delayed. In fact, we took our photo roughly one hour and a half later from the time slot. All thanks to the NCC Uniformed Group who took an eternity to prepare for the photo-taking because of their sheer membership size.
Oh well...

I will having History test and another A.Maths Test this Thursday. Wish me luck! ;)

Man, how I wish I can get my hands on those photos.

P.S: I wrote a funny song during my free time, please feel free to comment on it. Here goes:

This is sky
This is life
Everybody wants to cry
How we wonder we can lie
So that we can see them smile

This is wrong
It can't be
How we wish it would be
So that death isn't there
So that peace is always here

So this is it
This is fate
We can't change it after all
For things have always been
and always it will be
After all.....

And finally another weird thing I came up with:
STRESS = Super Terrifying Radiation Eroding Souls Syndrome.

So that's why having stress is bad for us. (lols!)

Hi again, this is just an update to my previous posts.

Like I said in my last post, I got back my report book.

And Obviously, there has been a serious miscalculation of mine before.

My Predicted L1R5: 13
Actual L1R5 : 14

And I also made another mistake, my last year's Term 4's L1R5 was also 14. Term 3 was 11.
(remember me saying my memory's bad? I was not kidding)

So here's the evidence, :)
CA1 Results for 2009

That should be all for today because I did close to nothing today. Yep, a plain boring day. Oh well...

A week gone and the Common Test's Over! Wopee!

Joy, Relief and lastly Disappointment.

Yep, yep, disappointment. I did not maintain my L1R5

My L1R5 for CA1 went from 11 to roughly 13.

Why? Why?

My Chemistry dropped like a stone. Thank God I'm passing, still.

I was hoping that my L1R5 improved to 9 because my English improved lots. Haiz, who could have known that my Amaths and Chemistry will not be maintained.

Here are the results so far I got back from the teachers this week:
  1. English -> 27/50
  2. Chinese -> 26.5/70
  3. Maths -> 94/100
  4. A.Maths -> 70/100
  5. Chemistry -> 28/50
  6. Physics -> 40/50
  7. Social Studies -> 20/25
  8. History -> Not Back
  9. Geography -> Not bad

And worst, after combining with several tests, I have:
  1. English -> B3*
  2. Chinese -> Fail(I don't care)
  3. Maths -> A1
  4. A.Maths -> B3 (3A2 + 1 fail = B3? OMG!)
  5. Chemistry -> B4 (T.T)
  6. Physics -> A1
  7. Combined Humans. -> A1*
  8. Geography -> ? (I don't care)
L1R5 = 13*

Oh well, that means I have to buck up for the next term. Hopefully, time is on my side.

Meanwhile, I found out something interesting. It turns out that the day that my parents were married coincides on my stepmother's birthday. Wow!

Is this fate? I wonder...

And I swear, something is rather weird these days. Now it is with machines. It's like as if there is some sort of EMP field being set up in Singapore or something. Everything is malfunctioning.

John's Laptop is shutting down abruptly for no reason just after switching on the laptop.
John's Phone going from full battery to a flat battery in 15 minutes.
The next day, my phone went from full battery to 1/3 battery in 3 seconds.

Something is way wrong somewhere and I can't fix it!!!

Back to about school, nothing much is happening anymore, it is getting boring in class. Okay, maybe because we are getting a tiny bit too busy to enjoy ourselves.

Oh well.

That reminds me, I'm going to kill Christopher (Lim not Widjaya) for spreading rumours of me having stead to my inner friends' circle(aka primary school friends)

I swear man, I have enough people telling me that Christopher told them that I have a stead during the Class 6/6 BBQ. =.=

And the pattern just keep going. Christopher tells Keller, Keller tell Marcus and now 6/5 going to know sooner or later.

Marcus, don't spread.

Now Johnston, being 6/6, knows too, thank god he doesn't care because he knows it's false :D

Guys, that means it's false because (duh?) it's false. I mean, I would not be that selfish to not tell you guys, right? (don't say yes..lol)

Note to Christopher Widjaya: You told Jian An =.= But I believe the other Christopher told you during 6/6 gathering too right? The chris I mentioned in my MSN PM is referring to him, not you...so don't scold me for scolding you(because I was not scolding you. lol)

Sheesh, that done and everything, I planning a revenge on Christopher. Hahas...

Meanwhile, because john's laptop has some technical fault, we end up watching videos throughout the night to midnight.

If you're curious, we're watching parodies. Yeah. We love laughter. ;)

CCA on Friday was sort of boring. We, seniors are slacking with me sometimes, out of boredom, go check out what my juniors are doing and helping them with their project.

And there was a period of time, Rena(the future ICC Chairman after I step down) go play the recently-popular horror game, "Hotel 626".

This made the whole club gather and play. Hahs.
I'm so glad no teacher spotted us or else the whole club is toasted. (I mean, me as Chairman and other seniors playing with them? God...)

Keller and Qi Xiang went to play "Need for Madness", man they must be really bored. LOL.

Hey, as a final note, John recently introduced to a new game. It is a war-chess game so depends on your interest.

Here's the link(you can use your Runescape account): http://www.funorb.com/info.ws?game=armiesofgielinor

Secret War Journal[2~6 Feb 2009]

Friday, February 6, 2009
All right! A week's horror and I lived with scars and honours.

Thank you! Thank you! Hahas.

Gosh! A whole week of events, I am not sure where to start. Hmm..Let's start with the new timetable my class got as of this week:

4D TimeTable 2009[1st Edtion]
Not exactly major changes but we had a change of Geography teacher. Some say the new teacher is not good at teaching but I cannot be that bias against him right?
Time will tell. Meanwhile, everyone's missing Mr Seah. LOLS...

Okay, now to the happiest and saddest part of this week:
  1. Geography Test -> 14/14
  2. History Test -> 10/10
  3. Chem Test -> (16+1)/25
  4. A.Maths Test -> (<57)/100
Geography Test and History Test was done really well. That I'm proud to say. Chemistry Test was a semi-disaster, relative to A.Maths Test. I got 16 in the beginning but I managed to claim one more mark. A.Maths Test....the one that led me to depression right now. I thought the paper was 2 hours long! How I know it lasts only for an hour? No one told me, confirm to me. So Half the paper was left blank when time was up. I calculated later and found that I lost 43 marks from blank questions. Now, do I have the option to tear up that paper and void it? I wish I could. What's done is done. Let's move on...

So, Cynthia's birthday is coming. Yuki's birthday is coming. So many birthdays in this month. Actually, I totally forgot about both of their's birthday. Cynthia's one was reminded by a email notice while Yuki's one was informed through blog, shoutbox and email and FRIENDSTER. Spam? Not really. Hahas.... What do buy for them? Absolutely no idea. Oh well.

Lessons are rather boring because Maths moved on to Further Trigo which I do not like. It's just getting boring. I like angles! Give me more angle Questions! :D Chinese, same old thing. English, our English Test is coming next week so this week, Ms Tan have been kind enough to impart some of her knowledge about Compo writing techniques to us so that we can improve on our pathetic writings. Yep! A bookworm does not mean that he's good at composition writings. Science, so-so. I'm still not comfortable with the chapter on Metals.

This week's CCA was a total waste of time. I so regret going to CCA that day. Haiz...

Okay, I'm talking with Marcus now. Talk next time!

23 January 2009 @ Singapore~!
Hi guys! I'm very sorry for not posting for a very long time, I have been really busy lately with many school-related stuffs since this year is a critical year for my future :D

Well, I will recap a little about what had happened for the past few days.

I had three Maths Tests and Mrs Sim, my maths teacher, had returned back the papers back to me.

Let's see, my results are as follows:
  1. Additional Maths -> Class Test (1) -> 74/100
  2. E.Maths Class Test(1) -> 69/100 [Only 12 people passed!]
  3. E.Maths Class Test(2) -> 46/50 [Second in Class!]
Not bad right? I think so myself...:p

Right, let's move on to today's topic...

Chinese New Year is coming and our school celebrated Chinese New Year 2009 today!

We had Nice HandWriting Competition for the first hour and obviously, I did not win because my handwriting is really ugly. But I like my handwriting! ;D

After that, we had normal lessons for a hour and a half. The first lesson was maths and we got back our Class Test(2) papers from her since we had the test just yesterday.

Our Maths Teacher is so efficient, right? So fast she marked finished the whole class's papers.

Well, at first she announced that I was top in class for this test and I got a shock. It is really amazing, because Jie Sheng is so much better at maths than me and he did not get top?

One word to describe my feelings then: WOW...

But shortly after that, she found out that Jie Sheng was top in class after all, he was higher than me by...1 mark.

LOLZ? Oh, well. No hard feelings, it's kind of stressful to be first. Second is good enough for me. ;)

It's rare to be second place in a competitive area, you know?

And I got correct for a question where the entire class got wrong! I feel so proud of myself! LOL?

The Second period was Social Studies. Mr Rahim came and gave us assignments.

We were supposed to write a reflection about how we felt after watching videos about terrorism and its impact.

But I did not did much because Mr Rahim later went on to talk about the Economic Downturn and how grave the situation is right now.

So I will take this chance here now to say this:

I REALLY HOPE THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY CAN SOLVE THE ECONOMIC CRISIS FAST!
:D

The last period was P.E.

Vanessa forgot to bring her P.E. Attire, she was worried that she's the only one who will get punished or something like that.
Later, I told her that she will not be alone because Cynthia is not in P.E. attire too(she was not feeling well)

Well, anyway, none of them got scolded because today, there is no need to wear P.E.attire as today is just briefing on our P.E. projects.

I became the leader for a group. LOL? How did things turn out that way? Man, more burden for myself.

Ah, before I talk about recess, I failed to mention that Cynthia is not feeling well since yesterday.

Now she has flu. Bad timing, if you ask me. If you get ill near Chinese New Year, you can't get to eat the delicious food during that festive period!

So I was like telling her to take care! LOL?

Well anyway, she seems tired during the morning though she seems to look better after recess.

And I still had not figured how I came to help Cynthia buy food...Hmm...

For recess, I had potato chips while I helped Cynthia to buy two Siew Mai.

She did not pay up(not like I expecting her to pay) because she had no change, and she actually went around to ask for change. LOL....

And I managed to fix Vanessa's Staple! Woot! But I got bored today and totally took out all the contents of her pencil case. :p

During recess, after I bought the food, I was talking with Cynthia when all of sudden, Wei Ting grabbed my right arm and pulled me out of the class.

My first thought was : "What the...." - Seriously, I was not joking.

She did not talk when I asked her what's going on. But she just dragged on and on. We reached the spiral staircase and Cynthia appeared and told me to not let Wei Ting to pull me and she took my left part of uniform(maybe it was arm, I forgot) and pulled.

What the..., are they playing Tug-of-War? And, do I look like a rope? (please say no...)

But Wei Ting looked determined to pull me to a place and if you recall, Cynthia was not feeling well. So Wei Ting pulled me off but I stopped(for a moment)...

I wanted answers. Cynthia said Jia Pei told her to prevent stop Wei Ting.
If that was an answer, it was definitely uninformative.

Well, anyway Wei Ting dragged me to H.O.D. Room and wanted me to call the judges for CNY Decor. Whatever....

Jia Pei and Bao Lin followed soon. Blah, Blah, Blah.

And so the full story came out(at LONG LAST!):
  • Our class lost at the CNY Decor Competition
  • Wei Ting wanted the Judges to re-judge
  • So she wanted me to call the judges(lol? why am i involved?)
  • Wei Ting got kind of depressed by the fact that there will be no re-judging
One of the judges actually came out and console her.

There goes my peaceful recess. *Sigh*

There are a few things I don't get it, Bao Lin and Jia Pei still got the mood to laugh, at random stuffs, despite the fact that Wei Ting, their friend, is crying. A bit weird, right?

Well that's none of my business. It's time to go to hall for Chinese New Year Celebration, and I got pulled out by Mr Goh when walking with Bao Lin, Jia Pei and Wei Ting.

Mr Goh and I started to talk about the Infocomm Club Portal which reminds me that I have not told you about it.

My school's Infocomm Club is making a portal for ourselves and it is available at http://nchs-icc.com . Do visit!

This year's Chinese New Year Celebration in our school is really REALLY Boring. So I'm not going to waste time talking about that.

And that's all for today, because it's late, close to midnight and I want to sleep(and play). BYE!

15 October 2008
Yo! I'm back!

Today is marking day, which means I have no school. Haha, My end-of-year exams finally ended. Phew, took so long.

Many things have happened, so this going to take time for me to update you guys about what had happened. Hahas

Okay, let's talk about what happened during my exams....

Exams:
English:
  • Had English papers on the first day.
  • First time having exams in the school hall, it's like, oh my god! So cold there. Really need a jacket but the coldness have not really affect my movement so I lazy to bring the jacket..lol
  • Ms Lim, my English teacher, said I passed English! Wohoo! My languages are bad so I'm really happy to pass English. Easy to make me happy right? LOLs
Chinese:
  • Chinese, haha, my weakest subject, not really expecting much from this subject. So I don't really bother.
E.Maths:
  • Maths, one of my strongest, so I really wish to ace the paper.
  • Paper 1was okay, except Question 1, people say Q1 was the easiest, funny, how come i get wrong? lol
  • Paper 1 got 70/80. If it wasn't for the Q1, i would have got better. Grr.....
  • Paper 2 was a killer, the air-con in the hall sort of 'slowed' me, brain-freezed me too. OMG! I wore jackets that day. I think the teachers lied when they say they set the temperature at room temperature. How can I freeze at that kind of temperature? Seriously....
  • Really worried about Paper 2, hope I can ace in overall...
A.Maths:
  • Okay...A.Maths was a killer. A slaughter house in the hall, no survivors...lol
  • For some reason, i screwed up all my partial fractions questions. And the prob is...I Don't know why!!!! Very depressed at this fact....*sigh*
  • If I got A1 for this subject, i will be a happy man. lols
Combined Humanities:
  • Okay, the paper was so-so.
  • However, i feel panic about my marks, which i do not know yet.
  • I don't know why either.
Chemistry:
  • OMG! Holy COW! Chemistry was a inhumane paper. It isn't from this planet!
  • Paper 2 was sort of manageable but paper 1...
  • ever seen a swinging axe? Cuts your head once, then again, and again.
  • Yeah think of that when you see paper 1.
  • Teachers say our school whole level for secondary three only 40% pass, 20+ As only.
  • That means 60% fail...the future is not very bright eh? =.=
  • Seriously, if I pass, I will not be free-thinker anymore.
  • Cynthia passed...-.- She's not human. lol just jk.
Physics:
  • I think the paper is easy. So yeah, one of the papers I looking forward most :D
  • Chris Lim flunked I heard, he flunked chemistry too.
Geography:
  • I swear, if I fail this paper, it's Mr Han's fault, no questions.
  • The coldness made me cannot complete the paper.Haiz
  • AND I know the answers!!!!!
  • ARG!!!!! Can't stand it. Lost marks for no reason
  • MR Han's Fault, definitely.......

Well, that's all for the exams. When I get back all the papers, I will update about the marks :D

By the way, the project "Helping Hands" that my CCA did reached top 6.That means that we have to prepare for an presentation. So Not much hurray from the club going on. I think only Mr Goh, our CCA teacher, was excited about it(lol). Wanna know why? Many reasons:
  1. This piece of news come at the wrong time: After exams, no one's in the mood to do work.
  2. I suck at presentation. So yeah I hate it. I rather Marcus takeover me ;) Yep, Marc you have talent in speaking. That's why you're my spokesman. Hahs
  3. In Addition, we have to come back, even holidays and weekends, haiz, my days of peace are over.....
So there are pros and cons. Haiz..so weird to feel stress after exams......first time too..Don't like a single bit of it.

See this is why I keep wondering why some of you would like to enter my school(even though, I know you guys only joking). I would rather join your school, man!(you know that's too late, even if I'm serious about it. *sigh*)

*Depressed* let's not talk about this.

Oh, my father recently informed me that I have got a pair of free tickets.
Funnily, we do not know what movie so I have to go collect and find out. He aid it was on the Wednesday(which is today :p).

So Monday, I went home straight and changed and went to Somerset. I brought my Handphone along to contact the fella who is holding the tickets.

I reach the comcentre, first time here so haha. She, yep a female) told me she is at comcentre II, 4th floor. So I have to find a lift.

I enter Comcentre II and I can't find a lift! LOL. I walked around, then a found a lift. Thinking it must be it, I went to the 4th floor.

I reach there and I call her. She said she is coming out. I waited..and waited....

Then a phone call, she can't see me. I was like, what you mean, I'm just outside! LOL.

Then it turns out that I went to the wrong building (LOLOLOLOL!).

The correct place is the picture below:

[Click to enlarge]

Anyway, it turns out that the tickets are for a movie called "Butterfly Lovers" Romance kind one. Even if want to watch, I can't - the timing is at 9:15pm. Thursday got school so cannot go out that late...Sob...Sob.....

Okay, my best friend's back from school. Cya!

29 September 2008
Monday! Got Monday Blues, hahas.

I baked bread again yesterday for my breakfast this morning. Though this time I think not enough sugar added. hmmm..should increase the amount of sugar. :D
--
On the way to school, I met Yong Liang. He had taken the Geography Test last week, so I asked how was it.

He said it was easy. The test is only 10 marks! (Hey, different class, so might not be the same questions, so yeah ;)

He also mentioned that his teacher said that the test is 70%, filing 30%. Oh My God, that means that 1 mark in the test is equal to 7 marks in overall. Such high weighting. If you fail, you're dead ;) Well, he said the test is easy as long as you studied(I hope I studied enough)

I forgot to mention this but there have been many rumours that our test paper may be the same as theirs since our teacher is pretty clueless about what is going on so :p, yeah.
--
Natalie later got more information on what may be tested and some last-minute revision on those stuff. Thanks!
--
Ok, first period was Geography test and it is indeed the same paper! Man, the teacher is truly clueless. Lol, maybe just plain lazy and just nice got another teacher set the paper already. (Gods knows I lied :p)

I finished the paper rather fast and I saw Cynthia's paper like a lot of words. Then...I looked at Natalie's one. HOLY COW! She wrote to the end of the second page(me only 1 page).

Sorry! False Alarm. She cancelled most of page 1 so pretty much same as me, okay, more than mine by 1 quarter.(HAPPY!? *Roll eyes*)
--
Next was LE. I actually forgot today got test!

Test is open-book but I only brought 4 pieces of the notes. Cynthia and Bao Lin brought the entire set. Ah..then cynthia said she will not lend me. NOOOO!!!!

We talked for some time because donavan have not returned from his art lesson. Later the teacher got fed up and we started without him.
--
Wa, first question and I do not know. Dead Meat. can finish around three-quarter with the notes I have.

Halfway through, donavan returned. I started discussing and got scolded by the teacher. Shush! Why me? Others are talking too. Grr...*Menacing Eyes*
--
Natalie got bring one piece, which later proved useful, correction, very useful. But later she need too so. I only manged to complete one or two questions with it.

Thank Goodness that later Cynthia decided to let me use her notes. Life-saver!(So kind!)

Managed to complete all the questions in the end. :D [Thanks all who helped me!]
--
Chem came. Mass Revision.
--
Recess. I forgot what happened during this period. I swear, I'm serious!
(=.= got a feeling you guys don't believe...)
--
MT - > EL -> Maths
--
Not much happened. During Maths, I accidentally offended Cynthia.

You might want to ask why.
Let's see. All link to something that her younger sister said to her.

Anyway, she doesn't want me to tell the rest so I said okay.

Then like 30mins? I almost said it to Chris(a slip of tongue, really! Jesus, no one believes me)

I didn't really said all, just one word but cynthia knows I almost said it and she glare at me.(uh-oh)
The damage was done. Oh great!

Then later, Natalie knows(not me. Or I won't here writing this...) about what cynthia's younger sister said and she commented that cynthia's younger sister is not right in the head. I agreed. Then Cynthia 'declared' war on me(as I was saying, WHY ME!?)

C'mon, I'm the only one who commented that. Why me!?

Then Bao Lin knew about it(again, not me). She commented the same too. HAHA, cynthia was like, "not you too!".

Serious, if you knew about it, you would agree but I would get killed if she even finds out. HAHA.

Anyway so the stepping of my foot and chasing continues.
--
Opps, did I mention that Mrs Sim was not present in our class during Maths Period? Guess not?
Well, she was away on a meeting so yeah.
--
15 Mins before school lets off, Mrs Sim appeared. The class suffered shock. ROFL..haha....

All of sudden, the class is back in order.
(does that mean that the class was in chaos without her around? *Hint* *hint*)

Covered some maths stuff, even til after school.
--
After school, we had three teachers in our class.

  1. Mrs Sim, Maths
  2. Mr Lim, CME
  3. Mrs Hay, Chemistry
Looks like all the teachers are pretty anxious over our exams. How come we're not? Serious mentality flaw in our class.....
--
Then it rained.....(NOO!!!)

I brought my broken umbrella. GREAT! Cynthia was like laughing and scolding me idiot for bringing for that umbrella when I have a better one at home.
I explained that was my mother's one(that good one) so yeah.
--
Wanted to go home fast, got delayed by Cynthia, Bao Lin and Wei Ting. Oh well, follow them til the gate then. Talked abit then I went home.
--
Home! Wonder what's going to happen next....
