Secret War Journal[22 January 2010]
Note: Will post about Meridian Junior College Open House when I have more time.

Down the Memory Lane, Streets of Geylang
Woke up relatively earlier than usual today. Today is going to be going to be busy day.

Woken up by a nightmare. Imagine being woken up via the shock from the a Taser.

=.=

My younger sister was preparing to go to school while I was trying to wake up my brain. My brain is trying to adjust to this change of sleep pattern.

No time to laze around though, I have a busy schedule to keep to today. Best not lag behind in today's plans.
--
Words of Thanks and more...
And towards the Ajunied MRT Station did I go...

After getting my results, my father asked me to pay my respects to my mother and tell her my "O" Levels Results.

Quite right. My mother deserves to know my marks.

But I still believe that my mother helped me. I'm not sure in what way but I feel that I should thank her for my good results.

So I thanked her today.
On the way, I paid my respects to my grandfather as well.

I got my shoes dirty on the day after I washed them. Oh well...
--
God knows I wanted to cry but I shouldn't. On the bright side, I kept that one side of the promise made ages ago...

But one is yet to be fulfilled...Only time will tell, huh?
--
Moving on, I headed towards Johnston's House.

On the way, I passed by the temple I used to worship in. It really bring back many memories, memories that I thought I had forgotten.

How many friends had I forsaken during my difficult time? Perhaps this is one of my biggest regret in life.

Thank you, Johnston, Marcus, Jia Xing, Jackie and many Inner Circle Friends for staying with me despite all odds.
Thank you for tolerating me. Thank you for everything.

P.S: Wonder how's the Aunt who used to take care of me?
--
Reaching Johnston's House, Johnston called me.

Sweet Timing! :)

Went to Johnston's House, we played Halo 3.

First time playing Halo 3. Cheered me up considerably, hahas.

Actually, this is the first time I played Halo 3. I bit slow but I don't really mind.

The brutes in Halo 3 are now funnier. =]

Grunts are ever funny. :)

Marines are still moderately funny.

Did I mention I like Arbiter? :)

Played with Johnston until 12PM. Called Jaytii to double-confirm that we're not getting pranked.

Thai Food much?
Met up with Jaytii and went shopping for my new school bag.

After that, met with Mr Quek(he forgot that he was supposed to join us for lunch. :p) to have lunch at some Thai Food Restaurant.

Talked about quite a number of things.

Had Oriental Fried Rice w/ Chicken there. It's average.

Mr Quek treated me today but I felt bad. Remind me to return him money next time I see him. ;)

Out of time.
Mr Quek had to return to school, Mr Koh was looking for him. (Opps?)
--
Next stop, we went to buy my school bag and said goodbye to Jaytii as we headed back to my school for CCA Recall...

CCA Return
I'm bringing Johnston along. ;)

Thanks Johnston for keeping me company, I won't be able to have done it without you. ;)

Did planning together with him.

After the CCA ended, I think Mr Goh was impressed with him. Hahas, bet he regretted teaching at NCHS now.
(Too late! Hahas)

So, yeah, we are confident that the CCA will survive with our absence. Woots!

Do your best, people, get more awards for the Club! :)
Brought John to the MRT and bade goodbye.

Now to fetch my younger bro home...

How big a Liar are you?

TJC Open House 2010

Saturday, January 16, 2010
Secret War Journal[9 January 2010][Long Post]
Time to go back in time. :D

Welcome back to last Saturday, 9 Jan 2010. Mwuhahaha...

My unexpected visit
Johnston asked me if I was interested to attend Temasek Junior College[TJC] Open House. To be frank, before that I was pretty sure that I would never ever consider TJC since I would never be able to get such good grades.

See I am so realistic. (As ever.) XD

So why did I attend anyway? One, to accompany Johnston. Second, just to see what a good Junior College looked like. (Seeing that my biggest regret from my primary school life was that I never attended any secondary school open house which gave me a shock when I step upon NCHS)

At end of the day, I can't believe I thought I actually had the thought to not attend the open house. Hahas...
--
Originally, only Johnston and I were attending, but on the day itself, Darian joined in as he lived near. If I had known that, I would had called Keller. Hahas.

The more the merrier. ;)
--
With Darian, the expert, along, we don't need to worry about getting lost. :)

Okay, maybe not. (Joking!)
Hee...
--
While waiting for Darian to arrive, (he's walking), we went up from the underground MRT station...

and saw two students conducting flag day.

Leroy(in thought): Oh shit. *Prays hard they never saw us*
Johnston: Erm..maybe we should wait below.
Leroy: Yeah!
Going down,...
Leroy: Did you see the students holding the cans?...
Johnston: Yeah.
Leroy: Well, they could had approached us but it's too late now..we're in the MRT Station. :p
Johnston: They must be saying, "Ah! They're onto us!"
*Laughs*

O' Glorious Day

Darian arrived and we started off for TJC.

Darian already donated to today's Flag Day's cause! (Good boy!) Hee...

He shall be our shield! Now we do not need to donate. Whenever groups of students come asking for donations, we show him Darian(or his little sticker that proves that he, or 'we' donated)

Yay! Hahas

My, my. I'm so evil...>=D
--
Reaching the TJC, we see TJC. (Like duh? Hahas)

Okay, jokes aside, it took me some time to find the main gate. :p

Actually I saw the building before I saw the tracks. Do all JCs have running tracks? OMG?

Anyway, so sad that we did not enter the campus through the revolving door. I really like those. (childhood pastime. Hahas!)

I really laughed when the fun students there told us to collect Goodie Bags. (I certainly did not went there for the goodie bags! Hahas!)

We had a nice student leader to walk us around the campus. I remember we reached a place that is unique in TJC. The lift.

Darian thought that was a 'EMO-Centre'. Hahas.
You know, with its dark surroundings and stuff.

Really had a good laugh there. :)

If we ever enter TJC, we shall create the legend of "EMO-Centre" Ha!
We're so evil..>=D

We're just joking, don't take it to heart. :)
Lectures!
Welcome to the highlights of the Open house, and in actual fact, one of my main reason why I came.

The first lecture was on General Paper.

The beginning of the lecture was rather confusing because they were talking about TJC, not the GP. So we were like, 'are we in the right place?'

I remember Darian asked me, "You sure we're in the GP Sample Lecture?"

I nodded but thinking back, that was funny. :)

The picture on the right was on the picture that the lecturer showed us in one of the slides.

Do you recognise the logo they made? I certainly didn't despite finding it familiar.

Yep, it's the YOG Logo. *Slap myself for not knowing*

Best part? They made that out of used shoes! OMG!

I thought they used paint or something. Turned out it was the 'or something'. =]

--
Here's a joke about Economics(by the teacher herself!)
3 people are stranded on an island -- a chemist, an engineer, an economist. They have one box full of food but it is sealed. They decided to each us their expertise to open the food and get the food.
The Chemist find chemicals found in the island to concoct up a solution to blow off the surface of the box and get the food.

The Engineer set off deeper into the island to look for materials to make a tool to open the box.

The Economist just stood in front of the box and said, "Assuming we had a hammer..."
--
After that, we attended the Principal's Talk. The principle is good, I must admit. :)
PDP(CCA) experience in TJC
In TJC, they do not call CCA, CCA. LOL!
They call it PDP(Personal Development Programme).

Wonder why the need to cause this confusion. O.o
--
Electrifying Messy Situation
Anyway, we reached this Science Council's booth which had three tables.

One for Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Chemical Booth have this cool colour changing experiment.
Biology is about DNA.
Physics was about Static Electricity.

Johnston and Darian was really fascinated by that Electric Tower(whatever you call it) despite having experienced that during their secondary school life.

It was hard not to roll eyes but I must admit, it was amusing.

Johnston and Darian really like sparks, I guess.

They even want to touch the ball to charge themselves and 'electrocute' someone else. (thank god, I was not one. :p)

P.S: To the Physics booth, the spark sound is annoying, please remove it.

Not-so Enthu Students(maybe)
We spent the rest of the time staring at the students dancing at the Atrium. Johnston thinks they're really enthu. Me, being the pessimist for now, thinks otherwise.

I mean c'mon, they're(most) not smiling(I could had sworn one was frowning). How can that be called enthu. I would rather believe they were doing this because they were asked by either the teachers or the student leaders.

If it is the student leaders, then woots. If it was the teachers, then Zzz....

No offence intended towards the teachers, I meant that if the teachers were the ones who asked them, then the JC is still pretty teacher-reliant. (which I don't believe that in TJC's culture. ;)

During the watching of the dance/performance, I met Hai Jin and Dylan. Oh hello!

Apparently, Ying Ying, Clarissa and them also came to look around.

Hai Jin and Dylan were also staring at the performance. LOL! Though they shortly left.
--
Memory Fragments
Next stop, library!

Somehow or rather, I ended up at the Library. The library was big, for a school. :D

We went upstairs and I met hai Jin, Dylan and Clarissa.

Further ahead, two TJC students approach us. They're KI students.

Those two remind me of someones but...I can't point a finger on either one. But I like them anyway. Hahas. They're enthu students who like KI. ;)

Learned a lot about KI from them. Thanks! ;)

I think I keep a lookout for them if I enter this school. ;)
--
Other incidents
The first one concerns Darian.

After the second Lecture, he was going to collapse. Since we saw a Milo Van when we entered TJC, we suggested that he go get a cup and refresh himself.

..Turns out that by the time we had our second lecture, the van was gone(along with the contents)

Poor Darian...

Being nice, he stayed with us until the end. It was appreciated. :)
--
I feel really sad for the Water Polo. They had to play in the Canteen. So Johnston and I pretended to give a shocked expression facing them. Darian took a picture of us. Wonder what happened to it? Hahas!

Separation..:o
Don't go all teary-eyed. :D

Darian left us first after we left TJC since he lived near.

Had KFC with Johnston.

And yes, this is my first KFC Meal for 2010! Take that! (Me being random)

:D

After that, met with dad to open a new bank account. Woots, now I have credit card. Not that I'm going to use it often anyway. Will see it once in a while though. :p

Homed.

P.P.S: Took me 4 hours to post this. ZOMG?

Brotherarms Meeting 2010

Thursday, January 14, 2010
Secret War Journal[12 January 2010]
First meeting for the Brotherarms(in 2010) and the fastest in history. Hahas.

Today I have the time to post this is because my project IWPR is officially BETA with completion of Phase One so I am now back to the Design Phase which gives me time to blog while I'm on the computer. ;)

Oh, in case you're wondering, I haven't forgot about the Temasek Junior College Open House

Starbucks. Mmm!

Met with Marcus, as usual, at the now empty DeliFrance lot in Compass Point. (Yes, it's really empty there now. LOL.)

Treated Marcus to Starbucks (sort of)
Had Latte while Marcus had Green Tea.

Forgot to return him books (like totally forgotten about it until he was talking about the books?)
Opps?

Now's a good time to share how the Brotherhood scored for this national examinations. (some not listed):
Jackie -- 7
Marcus -- 9
Jia Xing -- 14
Zhi Wen -- 11
Yong Ming -- 12

All scores are raw. (serve hot please. ROFL)

After Starbucks, I went to deposit money and top-up my EZ-Link Card. I used the Ticket Office which was extremely rare for me to do so. (We were running late, okay?!)

I still believe the Customer Service Counter is still faster. XD

Oh well, Marcus still haven't finish his Green Tea. (Okay, sort of.)

Now we have one problem -- We can't bring in drinks onto the bus.

Did I mention there were no dustbins in sight? Zzz *Rolls Eyes* *Hint* *Hint*

Bus 83 arrived. Uh-oh. Thankfully, as usual, it would stop to change driver which gives me time...
to run to the nearest Dustbin(which was outside of the Bus Interchange and back.

I like the expression on Marcus' Face when the Bus 83 arrived and he was trying to get out of the queue because I hadn't came back/ (Actually I was walking back, but still ran back in the end)

All the same, it's comical to watch Marcus' reaction there. :p

(To Marcus: Don't kill me for this! :p)

Drinks, Food, Decisions. Mmm!
As we were walking, we heard a voice from afar.

Some Random Person(hah! Don't want to kill the fun here :D) : Marcus!.....Leroy!...
*Me looking around* (In thought): Where are you?

Found him.

Leroy: Oh, hi Jackie! Why are you waving to us half-naked! ROFL?!
Jackie: Changing!

You know, despite knowing that Jackie lives somewhere below the 10th Storey, I started searching from the Roof. (Yeah, I am an idiot.)
--
Reached Jackie's House.

Marcus: Must Happy.Happy.Happy.
Leroy: LOL...You are crazy.
*Jackie arrives....half-naked*
Leroy: Wa, you change so long still half-naked.
*Jackie gave a reason which I forgot was what. LOL. I think it was something about him changing still. :p*

First time, okay not the first, we're earlier than Jia Xing. Woots!
Zhi Wen not coming, he was going to attend Nan Yang Junior College. (Aww....)

Oh well.

Jackie's Mother came after we greeted her to serves us drinks. Felt kind of bad when that happens.
(Jackie's Mother was not feeling well)

But Jackie's Mother, being a good host, did not rest despite us advising her to rest. She prepared snacks and stufs. Maybe we had organised this meeting on a wrong day?

How can we let someone who is not feeling well to overwork herself, so we tried not to trouble her too much.

Having said that, we(actually Jackie) ordered pizza since Jackie's mother should be resting, not cooking.
Jackie is such a good boy! *Hint* *Hint* LOL!

Jackie's mother provided many insights of how JC works and the subjects.
--
In the end, most of us there decided to go for TJC. I need to push for it since my grades is not that good.
Jia Xing is not joining us as he's planning to go polytechnic. :o
--
This funny thing happened when we were in a conference.

*Marcus was using his Iphone*
*Jackie's phone started to have lots of SMSes, one after one*
Jackie: Eh, Marcus!
Marcus: Not me! My Iphone cannot send SMSes so fast!
Leroy: lol?

It turned out to be Zhi Wen.

Msg#1: Which JC you going
Blah Blah Blah...
Msg#?: Eh, why you nvr repsond?
Msg#?: Oi, repsond leh

Or something like that, you get the message.

Jackie did not even have the time to reply! The SMSes so fast!

So in revenge, Jia Xing, Marcus, Jackie spam Zhi Wen. LOL! (I do not have unlimited SMS and I did not bring phone..Lazy...:p)

Guess, that was the fun part. Hahas.
--
After that, we got bored and played card games.

Played Cheat, Go! Fish and Tie-Dee(however u spell it)
--
Went home.

BTW, Jackie started GP tuition. So fast! Gahh...Not that I'm going to have tuition anyway...

"O" Levels Results!

Wednesday, January 13, 2010
Secret War Journal[11 January 2010]
First post about Year 2010! Woots!

Got my Results from School today!

L1R5: 9
English Language: A2 *Insert Evil Laughter here*
Comb.Humanities: A2 (Oh god no!...T.T)
Pure Geography: B3
E.Mathematics: A1 (yay!)
Add.Mathematics: A1 (yay!)
Pure Physics: A1 (YAY!)
Pure Chemistry: A2 (NO!!!!! *Emo face*)
Chinese: B3 (Rolls eyes)

>=D

Did I mention my target was 11? So obviously, I was hopping with joy because I scored better than expected.

Woots! Who's your daddy?

Okay, finally a happy post. Okay, not really finally but hahas...

(Turns heads to see if any friends are throwing eggs at him)

Okay...anyway...let's start from the beginning...

Class Meeting before Results
Organised a class meeting before the release of results, you know the sort of celebration since I doubt anyone would want to celebrate after the release of results.

Which was quite true(Duh?)

There was some confusion a few days ago during the planning, with the proper attire to get the results and spreading the message to the rest of the class.

Thankfully, with the help of Darren(thanks! ;), most of the class turned up(with the rest genuinely cannot make it)

Cool. Not bad for my first initiated class meeting (though I passed the natter over to Darren after Saturday.) Hahas!
--
Met early on that day to return books. Chanced upon Bao Lin who sneaked up behind me. Met up with Wei Ting and went shopping around for Yvonne's Birthday Gift.

HAPPY (17th) BIRTHDAY YVONNE! ;)

The class sang happy birthday to Yvonne. Wonder if it's a good thing if your birthday falls on this day though. Oh well.

Had lunch at Mac's

The taking of Results

After lunch, we headed for school.

We went looking for teachers(which were kind of a bad move)

Mr Goh and Mrs Hay played a cruel trick on us. (and it was so obvious!)

Gahh!!!

Oh well, most of us did well for Os with our school becoming Band One school this year.

Average L1R5: 10.9

Epic-ness! So sad I lost to Lai Yin and Jaytii. (!@#$)

Anyway, tomorrow, I am going to meet up with 6/5 clique to discuss our options. See ya!

Last of 2009

Saturday, January 9, 2010
Secret War Journal[31 December 2009]
So distracted by so many things lately that I just could not find time to blog! Oh my god!

Today, close to a New Year, I was chatting with Marcus.

I think it was the first time that I had spent the night, counting down to a new year with a close friend (Best Friend as Marcus would call it)
So sorry that I still keep on to "One Best Friend" ideology ever since I was told so by my Student Care Teachers. (See? I do remember some of their teachings. ;)

Well, don't worry, my other best friends, you're simply called my Inner Circle Friends. :D (As if you don't know that already...)
--
Anyway, that night, we shared some of our secondary school life and recall our primary school experiences.(which we have been doing of late)

I bet the readers must be groaning, "Oh man! Not again! Leroy's talking about his primary school history again!"

Hahas! Opps? But seriously, if you went through as I had did, you will no doubt understand why I really enjoyed my days at my primary school.

What fun then! :D

Yes, there were regrets but there were also lots of joy there. I mean, then was when I actually looked forward to school. (Which is so rare. Hahas!)
--
*Sigh* How treacherous our lives had become...

To quote someone: "Life is like a stage"

So true...so true...
--
It's been some time since I went back to Primary School. (Not thanks to my late dismissal from Secondary School :@)

I heard that Ms Yeo is married now. Wow! What had I missed? Hahas!
--
Well, on that night, I came to one conclusion: When you tasted one of the best, everything else seemed bad.

Ha.

Now ain't you glad I'm an optimist. ;)

P.S: This post is so badly written that I almost wanted to delete this. I really omitted many stuffs as Marcus would be able to tell. Everything here is so...superficial. :p
--
Well, I must go celebrate because I finally reach year 2010 on the other side!

HAPPY NEW YEAR guys! Though a bit late. (As Always. Hahas.)

Christmas Celebration

Sunday, January 3, 2010
Secret War Journal[28 December 2009][Long Post]
Yo! The king is back, as promised. Hahas! (dont' ask me why I said that. :p)

Technically, this should be Post-Christmas Celebration. O.o

See the date? It screams, "28 DECEMBER 2009!"

Yep, so hold your asses before you scold me 'idiot' (though I think you would still do so anyway...)

To be frank, this outing required major planning because I could not bring handphone(my second last day of no-Handphone out day!)

Well first off:
  1. I need someone to help me take care of my younger sister (my original plan was to bring her along)
  2. We need to decide on a decisive meeting place or else we all get lost. (Double bad for me because I am not bringing handphone! But of course, I'm not telling anyone. XD)
  3. We need to decide on a place to watch movie(my plan actually, will explain later) but it was settled later anyway. ;)
  4. We need to decide on a time to meet without reaching late for Lai Yin's Church Event(will explain later)
>>Okay, stop!

Information over-load? Maybe not. Let me clarify things one by one...

How this pretty outing all started...
True to her name, Lai Yin is a good liar.

Why? Well...

She 'claimed' that this was a class outing. You know me, I wouldn't attend any event church-related (especially since Jian An's Church Aggressive Preaching then)

Brr...*Shiver down my spine*

Back to the point, so why did I attend the outing, because I was told that the class was going. Zzz..

Oh well, thankfully, that lie shattered from within(I mean yeah, when the truth just plain stands out, the lie is so obviously...a lie. :o)

Just F.Y.I., the event is at night so I had nothing on for the whole of afternoon. Great.

Well...unfortunately, I found out too late. I already arranged things to make sure I can definitely head outdoors that day. (And hell no am I going to let my efforts go to waste.)

Okay, PLAN B!
I already assured(I'm not going to use the word 'promise') my dad that I would take care of Lera so I can head outdoors without getting slammed by "No one is taking care of Lera" crime at home.

Due to the above-mentioned twist of events, there is no really little people coming for the event.

I think that's where the Background Information kicks in...(a bit random but...)
After the outing where we watched the movie, "Bodyguards and Assassins", I wanted to watch Sherlock Holmes and Alvin and Chipmunks. Since I was going out for Lai Yin's event anyway, I might make use of the remaining free time to organise a movie outing beforehand.
Well, the movie outing was supposed to be a class outing too, I mean since the class supposedly would be heading out for the Church later anyway.

That did not went well. Hahas.

Right, PLAN B. Not exactly, plan B actually but let's just call it. ;)

I intended to invite Johnston and his sister to the outing as well but I'm not sure if the class would not mind.

With three-quarter of class out of the picture, calling Johnston over shouldn't be a big problem. Hahas!

So we can say, everything went according to plan.
--
Latest twist of events, Yan Zhi is coming as well. As soon as I'm aware of that fact, I invited for the movie.

In the end, he could not make it for the movie since his cousin was 'one month old' which is very important for us, Chinese Race. ;)

So I don't blame him. Just a bit disappointed. That makes even a few of us going for the movie. Oh well.
--
Finally, with the discovery of the Cathay Coupons in the Nan Yang Polytechnic Book(you gotta love their advertisement. Hahas!)

We initially wanted to go to Cathay, but the nearest Cathay Cinema(as shown on their website) airs movies at night, which is too late for us to make it.

No matter, we decided on Plaza Singapura, Golden Village. (Well I did, because everyone said anything which wasn't very productive, no?)

The Big day, yay
Did you notice I had not confirmed the time? (Actually we did, I regretted giving her the option of 12 noon or 1pm. I wanted 12 noon! The earlier the better!)

This morning is going to be super busy, if everything went according to plan. Without telling anyone, except for my aunt, I had decided not bring my younger sister along. To compromise, I asked a favour from my aunt if she could help me take care of younger sister while I was away.

Thank you, Aunt! If it wasn't for you, I may well could not go out at all! ;)

So I was out in the morning, bringing my younger sister to my Aunt's House.
After that, I headed towards the 1st Meeting place: Compass Point.
--
I just realise bus 83 is actually very fast. (I thought it was only quite fast, guess I thought wrong) (then again, someone said it was slow...O.o)

I mean, it took me less than 10 minutes for me to reach back to Sengkang from the Punggol Bus Stop. Too fast!

Shocked, because I'm officially very early. The time now at this side is 12:14PM.

*Shake head*. On the bright side, we're meeting at 1PM. I guess!

I was getting bored to tears so I decided to eat lunch myself (since they weren't eating lunch and Johnston is eating beforehand)

After eating Chicken Rice(Mmm!), the time now is 12:30PM+

Gah! Another half-an-hour!
--
Actually, not quite. Saved by some miracle. LOL

Before that, thank you for your wonderful present! ;)

(This is directed towards Cynthia, ;) Okay, despite being a super late present. Hahas!)
Can't believe I would live until this day to receive it. (Kidding!)

Back before the randomness...

I was wandering around the Bus Alighting area when Cynthia arrived. (care I mention that she's half-an-hour early?!)
Looks like I'm not the only early-bird here...lols.
--
I guess she was rather shocked to see me so early there too. (I mean hell yeah, I don't expect myself to be this early too...You can thank bus 83 for that...)

Since I had nothing else better to do, I followed her. (Unlike me, she's early for a reason)

Well, I'm going to tell you what's she early for, the pattern is intriguing. (Will explain later)

She
  1. Went to top-up EZ-Link
  2. Went to her workplace to collect something
  3. Return library books
Nothing special, right? The fun part is later.

After all that, we went back to the Bus Alighting Area to wait for Wei Ting. (She missed a bus. Oh my god...)

Reminds me whenever I was returning home from Aunt's Home after work. (Miss Bus 75% of the time)

Oh well...You know what's the cool part? Wei Ting arrived but did not see us. (okay not exactly cool, but call me childish...)

I sneaked up behind Wei Ting, waiting for her to turn her head. She was exactly shocked. Haiz...she was just curious where I sprouted from. =.=

Now let's do some comparison. Wei Ting also had a few stuffs to do:
  1. Claim stored value of faulty EZ-Link card at Ticket Office (seeing something?)
  2. Had to return books. (Still negative? Nevermind...)
Well, since it was getting late and I didn't want Johnston waiting there, Wei Ting decided to return the books later. Meanwhile, Bao Lin came when we were queueing up at the Ticket Office.

Now that all those that's supposed to gather here is here, it's time to head towards Plaza Singapura.

Turns out that I gave vague information to Johnston, he had no clue where to meet there. So I had to borrow a phone and call him. (Thanks for letting me use phone!)

While I waited for Johnston, the girls went ahead to shop for the Christmas Presents (which was a must for the event later).

A few more things to clear up:
  1. I found out that morning that Guan Hui was coming too(though she did not turn up in the end)
  2. The cinema at Plaza Singapura was flooded! And the Alvin and the Chipmunks was fully booked til at night! ZOMG!
Well, here comes our saviour! Johnston Tang! :D

Hahas~! Turns out that the website gave wrong information about the Cathay and it's showing Alvin and the Chipmunks around 2:30PM. (wait, was it 3PM? Forgot.)

Having said that, I think I'm in trouble for giving them wrong information. (Lesson Learnt: Cathay website cannot be trusted)
--
Found them at DAISO and done the introduction. But the girls very mean(okay, I meant shy!), don't dare to show their face. Ok....?

:?

Well, as we walked towards the Cathay, the topic was: We forgot your friend's name. What's his name again?

Hahas! I'm sure Johnston don't mind. I mean, you can't really expect people to remember names so easily, right? (I mean, even Johnston couldn't yet. ;)

Movie: Alvin and the Chipmunks 2
Woots, bought the movie tickets!

As the girls accompany Wei Ting to put on her Contact Lens, Johnston and I chatted.

(Random time! Wei Ting and her number 12 *Roll Eyes*)

We were late for the Movie because the snack bar had this really long queue!

It's definitely a must watch, not that you need me telling you anyway. Hahas!

Well, first of all, it's funny (and cute! As I'm sure many would say ;)
The graphics is not bad too. Hmm...

Sad to say, the plot isn't very engaging. Though the twist were a welcome. Too little singing (AKA Action)? Perhaps that's what is lacking. Hahas.
--
Yeah, until now, I have not watched Sherlock Holmes. T.T (I will...one day...)

Lai Yin's Church -- Victory family Centre?
No offense, but that doesn't sound like a church name. Then again, CityHarvest doesn't sound like one either...

After the movie, we bought the presents (for Yan Zhi, Johnston, and me) and went to Yishun.

Met the tall guy and the liar there. Hee...
--
The event turned out to be nothing that I expected. Perhaps I was thinking of something as grand as the CityHarvest celebrations.

So there was no Christmas Carol Singing. So I'm kind of glad that I did not bring my younger sister after all. There's really hardly anything to do.

Frankly, if my friends weren't there, I would be bored to tears. Thank you, guys. Yeah! I'm not alone. So there was laughter. Ironic that I paid $6 for laughter. I could had gotten the laughter part without the $6. (Lesson Learnt: 50% Chance that what's Lai Yin is offering you is a rotten deal. Wait, make that 25%. Wait...)

And I was promised by Lai Yin that there won't be aggressive preaching. =.=

What's with the "no maybe will make it next saturday but MUST"?

What happened to freedom of religious view?
Well, I doubt anyone went next Saturday anyway. (Definitely not me nor Johnston)
--
Well, for the sake of memory, we had some games, food and some talk that we hadn't a slightest clue.

Oh and, Johnston won the "Guess the Lyrics: Christmas Edition" and was awarded a Post-it Notes. Zzz...

Well at least, that's as near as Christmas Carolling as it can get.

P.S: And you can know somehow that Lai Yin did not intend this to be a class outing. The venue was so small, it was close to full with just a few of us + the rest of the church members. If the whole class came, there won't be space to breathe. The lie becomes obvious now, huh?
At this aspect, I thoroughly disappointed. What happened to the good old Christians that I used to meet? (like Marcus?)

Tsk Tsk

Our unlucky journey home...
I mean can you believe? Everytime we reached a bus stop, we miss a bus!

Sad that I couldn't accompany Johnston home, guess the Gods had something else planned for me.

Watching Johnston walking back to the MRT Station made me guilty.
Several thoughts came. "Did he regret coming?" "Was he sad?"...

*Shrug* But he had that sad face look for quite a number of days. It's scary. (Note to Johnston: Cheer up!)

After missing around 2 buses, we decided to wait on one bus stop and wait for the bus to arrive.
--
Walked home with Yan Zhi and had a heart-to-heart conversation. (Must more in-depth than the first time. Shocking news indeed)

Of course, the contents are personal so you won't see it here. (yeah I know this is supposedly the 'Secret War Journal' but the contents will only be at the Top-Secret War Journal. So I guess you lucked out, kid.)
--
Reached the Lift Lobby at around Midnight and saw my father stationed there.

WTS?!

What was he doing here? He's supposed to be asleep!

Turned out that he needed my help in moving some stuff from the shop back home. (He tried calling me, only to realise I did not bring out phone. Hahas, makes you think twice before not letting me bringing it out. *Insert Evil Laugh here*)

Being the good kid I am (*Puke* I heard that!), I helped.

Slept at 4AM on the next day. Boy was today a busy day. *Snores*

On the other hand
Sorry peeps, I forgot to talk about 27 December 2009 (I noticed).

On 27 December 2009, two main events happened.

First, I received my Merit Bursary Award from the Ministry of Education. The ceremony was rather dull but the time invested was rather worth it. ($.$ Money Face! LOL..joking)

Secondly, Aunt Michelle came near my house to give my younger sister her Christmas Birthday!
Thank you Aunt Michelle!

Christmas Eve 2009

Secret War Journal[24 December 2009]
Well, I guess the pictures ain't available yet so you guys just had to bear this post without a single piece of photo until I get them. :p

C'mon, it's not that bad. Is it?

(Okay, I know it's already new year on the other side but still,...I shouldn't skip parts. So yeah! Some serious catching up to do~! Hahas! ;)

It started like any other day...
Ah....It's Christmas Eve. As of morning, it's no different from any other days. Don't be so alarmed, my family hardly celebrate any holidays after all.

Well, I got work to do too. Thus, I spent the whole of my morning and some of my afternoon earning money! :D

Woots! You see, I can enjoy life as long as I'm the one who make the decesion. Hahas!

Homed soon after, I promised my dad that I would be home before he did. (Best not let him find out that I wasn't very sure that I can achieve that feat so...Shhh!!! ;)

It turned out to be a special day...
Good news, pal. Johnston just called. Hahas! (Rolling on the floor, laughing.)

Well, since we were all free, we pushed forward our planned outing planned on Saturday.

(Okay, that means my gut feeling that I was going to be busy was not about this outing but something else. Hmm...;)

What's the highlight about our outing, you would ask? Let's find out together, shall we? (Okay, some of you would probably cheat and sift through my calendar beforehand but...)

Let's keep things under wraps for a tad longer huh? ;)

Back to this place, huh?...
I'm heading towards Clarke Quay now, this would be the second time I'm coming here since 2005. I guess.

Still remember the reason why I first came here? It was part of work, my CCA: Infocoom Club [IDA] then.

How things had changed, finally I came here of my own accord, for entirely different reasons and I came here to learn.

Wow, so serious all of sudden. Hee!
--
Well, like I said, my memory sucks. Yeah, I remember bars and stuff but I totally forgot about the details of the MRT Station.

"Woah, how big is this MRT Station," I thought when I reached Clarke Quay.

Actually, it's not that big, as it turns out. It just gave a impression that its rather huge but thankfully it has only one exit so I won't be at the wrong place to meet. Hahas!

Well, while waiting for Johnston and his family to arrive, why not I share with you something?

Do you know I always mispronounce "Clarke Quay" until the previous time I came here? So silly, right?
Hahas!

I'm not sure how to spell out my mispronounced corruption of "Quay" but it's way off from the correct "Quay". Opps?
--
Oh! They arrived. ;)

Looks like I couldn't hold the suspense any longer. So!

BEHOLD!

We're going the Body Show in Singapore. There's one held in Singapore Science Centre but today we're heading to another exhibition which is held at Clarke Quay!

Today, we have Johnston's Mother, Emelia, and Johnston with us to take a look at the exhibition. :D

Come to think of it, I think that day was the first time I met them for this holiday. Haiz. So late right? Tells you how busy I had been, in a sense. *Face Down, shaking head*

Anyway...they came via Johnston's Father's Car so yeah, it was pretty redundant for me to wait at the MRT Station Gate. Silly me.(You know, I figured out that it would happen this way but I could not figure out from which way so...yeah I stayed put at the Station. :p

Well, not that that did any harm... :o
--
Guess it's time.

Thank you Johnston and Emelia for your Christmas Present though it was really necessary (Now I feel bad that I did not prepare present for you guys. Watch me, I will prepare next year! ;)

Kindness.
Lunchtime, we decided to eat at Burger King. Mmm!

As usual, BK Chicken for me! O.o

Yeah, it's like I only eat BK Chicken in there. (I had quite a horrible experience eating their turkey so no thanks. Hahs!)

Oh! Here's something funny about the Burger King near Clarke Quay Station. The signs on the glass door is placed incorrectly.
On one occasion, we finished our meals and were heading out.

The sign on the door wrote "Push". Emelia was leading so she pushed the door.

The glass door gave way to a certain extent before refusing to budge.

*Shock* (okay, that was a bit of exaggeration)

Thankfully, there was another exit. (which was the one we used to enter, in case you're wondering)

Johnston and I thought that the other door was just faulty, that's probably why it could not open fully but as we head towards the exhibition, we turned back and noticed a couple succeed in entering the Fast Food Restaurant through that door.

Once again, *Shock* (okay, I lied, we laughed)

Strange that the couple knew that the signs were inverted. Perhaps they patronise that place often or...I don't know.

Finally...
Ta-Da! The exhibition!

BUT I have no photos to show you! So disappointing. Can I say something like, come check back another day when I get them? LOL!

Well, let's not be so cruel.

In there, you get to see real bodies and yeah, viewer's discretion advised in the sense that it could be slammed with a R21 rating if it wasn't in the name of Science. LOL...

Besides that, (rest assured, there's no revoking smell) not only do you get to know about the various organs about the Human Body and the way it works(the nerves, blah blah blah, you know, this kind of stuffs), they also touch on how the organs looked like when they are suffering from condition. That's the gross part, I guess.

Of course, there's some fun parts too. From the signing of the Guestbook to the various skeletons posing and the History of such studies.

Lastly, (hey there's a photo after all!) you also get to have the chance to have your body compostion thoroughly analysed by this weighing machine. (Well, sort of.)

Here's mine!

My BMI
Wow! Wow! Wow!

I actually lost weight from the Holidays! Oh my god.

Well on the bright side, I finally know my height. *Nods Head*

And god! Look at my Impedance! F.Y.I, the average of a human body should be around 500.

I'm below average! (as is Johnston) *Grasp*

And Emelia got the record-holder in that exhibition, having a Impedance of 599!

Good Lord.
--
Heehee, I like the scene where the assistant exclaim, "God, you're ultra light" when she was getting my result slip from the Machine. :p
--
And yes, Biology has lots of difficult words.

The easiest would be Stirrup, White Blood Cell, Red Blood Cell, Tibia?, Biceps?, Triceps?

LOL?!

Okay, information overload. Will update when I have the pictures. :D
--
Thank you, Johnston's Mother, Johnston, and Emelia for making my Christmas this year so special! ;)
(Guess I owe you guys one. O.o)

Finally, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

P.S: I'm quite aware that message is a bit late, thank you. :) Anyway, the next post about Christmas should be posted around Sunday if I got time but I know definitely not tomorrow because I'm working tomorrow. ;)

Until then. =]

Job Hunt 2009 #2

Secret War Journal[23 December 2009]
Hi, it's me again! :)

Okay, that didn't sound really cheerful. (LOL.)

You know, I'm a bit behind time in blogging since I keep losing the mood to blog lately. (Hopefully, that ends soon. Hahas!)

Let's make this short so that I can move on to my next post (Hopefully, all done in one day! Woots!)

Johnston and I went to Bugis on that day to look for a job. The original plan was to find a job at the Suki Sushi Restaurant where Keller was working at.(See last few post)

But by that day, that restaurant ran out of vacancies. Grasp. Oh well.

We went to Bugis to look for a job at Fairprice Supermarket.

That was done at a surprisingly fast speed and we had nothing to do all of sudden. :o

So we head to somewhere near Johnston's House and played LAN: Left 4 Dead 2.

Well...what can I say? That's one fast way of killing time. *Shrug*

Homed.

P.S: Don't cry foul at me. I did warn you I wanted to end this fast. What about the details you say? Opps? :D

Bodyguards and Assassins

Secret War Journal[22 December 2009]
Wee...finally have time to blog again!

This Tuesday, I finally have an outing with friends since god-knows-when. (Probably since 2 weeks ago...T.T)

On that day, I did not work so I was basically using the computer since I read finish the newspaper and read finish all the storybooks that I borrowed (you know, the one about the runes).

The original plan was to meet at 2pm at Plaza Singapura with Johnston, Keller, Darian, Dalton, and Samuel. Trevor could not make it. (Sad Sad)

Plans...
Oh well(as I always say..hahas), as I was saying, that was the original plan, in the end, I met up with Johnston around lunch time to look for a job that Keller got -- Suki Sushi Restaurant.

Supposedly, it was located at Hougang Mall which was near the MRT Station.

When we were entering the Hougang Mall, we chanced upon a boy asking for donations to a (unknown) charity. The Minimum donation was $10. (I'm going to be broke...) Since it was so expensive, John and I shared the cost of donating.

After donating, this conversation took place:
Leroy: You know, I'm very scared it was a bogus charity.
Johnston: (Laughs) Yeah
Leroy: Reminds me of the video "What to do when you're bored this Christmas -- Ask people to donate to bogus Charity"
Both: (Laughs)

Well, we definitely hope not!(Though I'm afraid we may well never know. ;) I mean, we want the money we donated to at least benefit someone(as is the purpose of Charity, in the first place.)
--
Back to the main point, we could not find the Sushi Restaurant called "Suki Sushi" but "Ichiban Sushi".

Opps?

Now, either we got scammed or we went to the wrong place. Hahas.

Anyway, since we already came we tried our luck at that restaurant and applied for a job. ;)

Back.
Hoho. Guess what? When we were heading back to MRT Station, we met Keller on pure coincidence (he was supposed to meet us at Plaza Singapura). Immediately, we asked him where the Restaurant and walaa! We were in the wrong place. LOL!

Nevermind. Now towards Plaza Singapura!

The Movie
Erm...let just say the majority of us says it's not really nice. We should had watched Avatar(if it wasn't thanks to my father and my stepmother, we could had. >|)

Thankfully, the humour used in the movie made the movie watch-able in general.

But not really worth your $6.50 for the movie tickets.

After the movie, I need to head off towards home immediately so I can't exactly say this is a outing, more like a brief gathering or something.(no thanks again to my father and stepmother)

Disney Movie Trailers for 2010

Secret War Journal[21 December 2009]
Here are some Movies trailers made by Disney, scheduled to be aired next year!

I feel like watching those movies next year! ;)

This trailer reminds me of Pandora Hearts. O.o

Had I mention that I'm a big fan of Magic? O.o

Paying Respects to Mum

Secret War Journal[20 December 2009]
Today, I woke up sorta later than usual since my work won't start so early.

While waiting for my parents to get ready to go to the temple to meet up with our relatives, I was trying to finish this trilogy.

From Amazon.comFrom Amazon.com

It's a book based mainly on Norse Mythology and Runes(WOo la la!). Sorry, I'm a big fan of magic. :p

On the last book, which is the third book, there is a guide to the Runes used in this trilogy.

The only defect, I believe, would be that the book uses some french which were not translated by the author, which leaves you confused as to what was the conversation about. So you might arm yourself with a translator when you this book. :p (Kidding! French were only used sparingly. You could still understand the story without knowing French.)
--
This time, my family is way late, the last(in fact), to arrive and all the praying were already done. =.=

Oh well, it's not like I wanted to be late(my family's good at this, hopefully not me. :)

Paid my respects to my grandfather and mother.

P.S: My family kind of anti-social that day, they sort of avoided contact with the relatives, very emo-ish, like sitting in one isolated corner or something. Brr...
--
After that, I went off with Aunt to start work! ;)

Working

Secret War Journal[12~21 December 2009]
Hello guys! Well, yeah ,I'm bloggging one day earlier than usual (Woots?)

There's a reason for that, but for now, let keep it a mystery. O.o

What happened after the Job Hunt...
Okay, so the post on the Job Hunt would had left you, "What?...Cliffhanger!"

Opps? I did not do that on purpose! Sorry!

I just got severely sidetracked. (and ran out of time halfway? hahas!)

Okay, before you start entertaining murderous thoughts, let us move on. (hee...)
--
After applying, I pretty much wasted the next three days waiting for calls(which sad to say, really impossible since my stepmother took the handphone away so yeah...)

So yeah, I guess it's fate that even if they did want to hire me, they can't. Haiz...

T.T

Well, just then, a ray of light shone on me(okay, I'm bullshitting but yeah, just for the sake of making it more significant. :)

My aunt got a job for me! Woots!

And so I got a job(yeah, the same one as last year's)

Well, since it's pretty much the same as last year, I will skip the redundant details, here's something new!

Tadaa!
Photobucket
Obviously, I modified the flier so that you can't, you know, reproduce it. And I removed the vouchers too. But yeah, lemme do some advertising, would yer? :D

Since my post was so discriminatingly targetted for males.(hahas!) I think it's only fair that this advertisement only concerns the females. :p

So yeah, Manicure and Pedicure! LOL, frankly, I have no idea what's the difference between this two...

So,...yeah, can't do much in this segment, (moving on...)
--
Since I distribute two fliers at once, I get double the pay! Woots!
--
Time's up. Aww...

I'm still considering if I should take a job at Reuben's workplace though I'm not sure if Trevor's company has vacancy for me. (I prefer working for Trevor. :p)

Guys' rules

Friday, December 18, 2009
Saw this on Wei Chuan's Blog. Not bad. Sorry, girls, can't find yours. (Probably because I don't know what rules Girls have in the first place...)

Job Hunt 2009

Secret War Journal[8 December 2009]
Boo! Guess what. I intended to post last Sunday but I ran out of time. (you know, I got sidetracked and then blah, blah, blah...)

Anyway, let's get this thing up and running...

We all overslept...
Hahas! Can you believe that?

We planned to meet early in the morning because I need to be at home by 5 so as to fetch my younger brother from School.(..Haiz...)

When I woke up, I knew at once I was going to be late. So I rushed to the meeting area...

Johnston was nowhere to be found!

GASP!

Okay...you know what's the first thought that came to me?

"Okay....I got a feeling I heard the wrong location to meet at..."

CRAP...so I thought. But hey, there was a possibility that Johnston was late(but never this late because it's almost half an hour past the meeting time!)...so I pondered whether I should head towards another possible meeting location. (At this moment, I regretted exiting the MRT station, which meant that I paid the fare. AHH!!!)

Then another train of thought came, "What if I was so late that Johnston went ahead...Oh great..."

So there I was struggling with my feeble mind in agony(okay, virtually)..when Johnston arrived.

Thank the gods!

Turns out that Johnston overslept too..Hahas!

Since both of us overslept, we had not had breakfast, Johnston didn't feel hungry so only I bought breakfast(at Breadtalk! :)

And so it begins...

Now what?

I think this was the first time I went out to hunt for a part-time job. (I doubt this would be my last time. :p)

So how did it went? Hmm..Let's see, I applied for a job at:
  1. Subways (EAT FRESH!)
  2. Build-A-Bear
  3. Golden Village
The application for Subways took the longest, boy do they ask very comprehensively.

Sad that I did not give them my Home number then, it was down which leads us to our next section...

What happened?
My phone line went static the day before. Why? I had no idea. Thankfully, by the time I posting this, the phone line had been fixed. Thank you. (Meanwhile my alarm clock died...)

Things that went faulty since last post:
  • Home Phone Line [FIXED]
  • Gas Stove [FIXED]
  • Alarm Clock [Hopefully Replaced]
Things are always falling apart at home, no?

Okay, we're going to sidetrack a little here (ignore these if you do not know Chinese)

Here's the Question:

What's your answer?

Brotherarms Meeting 01122009

Tuesday, December 8, 2009
Secret War Journal[1 December 2009]
Okay, this is seriously overdue. My bad! :p

Without further a ado, let get this up and running!...
Meeting up
As is tradition, I would always meet up with Marcus first at Compass Point. :D
Since this meeting is unique, we met up earlier than usual, in fact 10AM.

Jackie requested us to be present by 11AM. I don't mind. It's been a long time since we met and we would sure to have lots of things to talk about. XD

Meeting place was the usual though I felt seriously out-of-place when Marcus had not arrived.

10:02AM: Arrived at designated location, no sight of Marcus. A group of youngsters are around too, but for different purposes. Of course.
10:07AM(I think): More people arriving for the same purposes as the first group. Starting to feel out of place. Marcus, you better get here soon.
10:10+AM(I think!): Marcus arrived. Phew!

Note to Marcus: See? I'm seldom late! The previous time was a isolated case! (okay so you already knew, but I was trying to clarify. :p)
Preparations
Well, we(rightfully, I should say Marcus) had prepared a surprise for Jackie. Hee...will not spoil the fun yet but no worries, I will reveal in a few sections later. XD

Since we're all in a Christmas Mood, it's no wonder that Compass Point is selling Christmas Tree.

Marcus: The trees are so expensive! Wait...do you recall that we met here around this time too last time.
Leroy: Exactly! How come these trees cost so much?!...oh yeah, is it just me but we had this conversation before. *Laughs*
Marcus: And these trees are fake...

Just for the sake of clarifying, the trees we were referring to were Christmas Trees. :p
They were also selling Console Games so we went to take a look.

*Looking for PS2 games(since Jackie owns one)*
Manager(I presume): Erm, sorry, we're not open yet.

Ohhhhh....anyway, there ain't any PS2 console game displayed there(and little wonder in that too.)

Man, I'm hungry. Time for breakfast!

Went to Old Chang Kee for Breakfast since it is one of few food stalls open then, :o
It's okay, I'm into Old Chang Kee recently. :p

Mmm..Fried Chicken and Fishball. (yeah, me and my randomness. No idea why I ordered those. Hahas!)
P.S: I just need $0.10 more to get a free cup of Soy Bean Milk! Nooooo!!! LOLs?

After buying the food, (I sort of tempted Marcus to buy as well, I think. :p) I realised that I can't board the bus. HA!
It's okay. We finished the food and I went to clean my hands and we're ready to set off! ;)

Reaching the Bus Interchange, the Boarding area for Bus 83 is empty. I think that means we just missed a bus. Great....

Waiting...

Waiting...

Waiting...

Jackie called, reminding Marcus to reach there by 11AM. Tut Tut. I was confident we could reach there punctually.
How memory fails us all
The bus finally came! Woots!

Alright! As we wait for the bus to reach the bus stop that we want to alight, let me enlighten you on some background information.

So what's the surprise that we have for Jackie? Simple, a birthday present. (that cost a bomb)
To be exact, Chocolates.

Now here's the problem. We weren't sure if Jackie's Birthday was tomorrow.

Big Opps?

Hey, we both used our rusty old minds whose instinct tells us that Jackie's Birthday SHOULD fall on tomorrow.

And yeah, with that uncertainty, we got him a birthday present. Hey, I mean if we're wrong it can be a door gift. :D

Right?

Marcus: Is this the stop that we're supposed to alight?
Leroy: Not sure. I know we need to alight at the stop opposite a supermarket and I don't see it...
*Bus moves* *Supermarket opposite prior bus-stop comes into view*
Leroy: Erm..I think we just missed it...
*I think Marcus gave me a glare(okay, Marcus say he did not give me a glare so there's there :D) or became crestfallen*

So, given the circumstances, we alighted at the next stop. Main worry? Ironically, it's not about we reaching there late but the melting chocolate. And so we walked fast.

The distance from the two bus stops seems surprisingly short. Wow.

Leroy: Okay, I think we have another problem.
Marcus: What?
Leroy: Where's Jackie's house? I've no absolute idea! *Laughs*
Marcus: I know.
Leroy: Thank god!

Did I mention that my memory sucks? I probably did. XD
--
Going up the lift, yet another conversation occurred. (C'mon, I'm forever talking! Yak Yak Yak.)
Marcus: Do you think Jackie's mother and sister will be there?
Leroy: I think so. They always do.

Well...our conversation was cut short since we reached the floor and there were people outside.

Two people, in fact.
One adult and one child.

And the adult is very familiar....now where had I seen that before.

Adult: Marcus?

Oh...now I remember, she is Jackie's mother, then the younger one must be...

I think that's rather self-explanatory.

When the two of them entered the lift and left...

Leroy: Speak of the Devil!
Marcus: LOL! You took the words out of my mouth! I was going to say that!
--
Reached Jackie's House. (Yeah, it's just the beginning and so much already happened! OMG!)

Now for the burning question: Is tomorrow Jackie's Birthday? Let us find out.

(Bear in mind that this conversation took place at Jackie's House's Doorstep.)
Marcus: Jackie, is tomorrow's your birthday?
Jackie: No. Why?
*Oh crap. Oh crap. (Basically chanting)*
Marcus: Nothing.
Jackie: Actually, it is.
Marcus: You!
No offence intended. That's Jackie for you! :p Heehee!

And if you thought that's why I choose such a heading, too bad! Hahas!
--
Apparently, Jia Xing already reached and he was playing Starcraft. O.o Getting trashed by A.I.

Somehow, I ended up playing it too, sort-of trying exact revenge on the A.I.

Leaving out the details, I lost too. T.T *emo* LOLs!
--
Then we started talking about our primary school life and how it changed so far. Some way or rather, we went to facebook to find our 6/5 classmates.

And boy, had we forgotten so many people that we never knew was part of our class. It was not intentional! We're really sorry!

But we remembered now, thanks to Jackie's well preserved class photo. :D
(now you know why the heading was named so? XD)
Lunchtime
Some things changed, no more fried rice (can't say I don't miss them. :o) but chicken rice instead,
Thank you, Jackie's Mother for spending time to cook for us! Appreciated!

Meanwhile, Marcus pretended that he was a smoker and he is suffering from withdrawal symptoms and he's on a diet. (unfortunately, he's not on a diet. Opps? :D)

Talked for a while before Zhi Wen arrived.

Sad that Jia He could not make it. Why you fell sick on this day?! LOL

One of Jackie's PS2's controller turned out to be faulty. Jackie did not know beforehand because he only plays that when we come. Oh well.
(bet marcus must be glad that he did not buy a PS2 game after all. Hahas)

Talking resumed....about what is anyone's guess. ;)

Wrong day to Blog

Secret War Journal[6 December 2009]
Well...what can I say? I wished that I started blogging today on a happier setting but we all know that's as good as impossible these days...

Well...we all do as we must and so I shall continue...

Things I left out in the last post
I wanted to Post about my visit to Jackie's House but we will save that for another day(when I'm in a better mood than today, which may well never come...)
Interesting Snippets of Informations recently
Smiles makes you happy

Well, that's one way of getting happier (since I guess when you feel better, you get happier easier, I think.)

Well, my family hardly ever says thanks. Maybe none at all. Or none sound sincere to count anyway.

My house is like a stage, a place to act. So you can say my family are all hypocrites. (maybe I, myself, am one too)

The 'peace' at home is like an mirage. Hatred between each other. I'm not surprised you threaten me so.

Tsk tsk, the more you threaten me so, the more you prove to me that you stand to lose more than me.

The merits you told me in maintaining such a show is pathetic and pales in comparison in facing the truth.

You say we should not judge based on Pros and Cons, gains and losses. Well, too bad, I'm a practical person. You didn't know? What a shame.

Funny that you treat me like an idiot when I'm smarter than you. Ironic, I would say.

Anger is bad for your Heart
So I let the anger out today. Actually, I did not intend to. Thanks to some people who decided to placed their foolish blame on me, this show is starting to warm up.

And so far the results are not bad (save my current mood.), they left me alone at home. Finally, some freedom since last week! Not a bad course of action to execute since I can regain my old peaceful life before a certain someone dragged me into this mess because 'they think a family should be together'.

Funny you said that when you say the Family is already in pieces, and you claim this is my bloody fault.

This rift, this existence of camps did not even involve me until you dragged me in. To what end?! To place the blame on me? That just proves what 'nice' family I have got here.

You think I'm very forgiving? Then perhaps the years you spent me were for naught. You should known better. Since when I let thing lay as it is? Fool.

I swore and I do not have a single regret. One day ...I intend you to be rapid the wrongs you did to me tenfold. And everyday the stage threatens to tremble, that day draws nearer.

You think I won't walk this path, huh? Wrong. I will not suffer as much losses as you would(though you would think otherwise, I'm not longer the old leroy you knew, fool. The things that you think I'm afraid of losing are nothing compared to what you shall suffer.). And that's some-what enough to have your own taste of the very hell you forged.

Of course, if the stage stabilises, don't think yourself safe. I intend to see it so.

It's always someone else fault, never yours. And you say that I'm just trying to pass the blame? If the family is breaking into even smaller pieces then it was before, shouldn't the blame be on the head?

Of course, you could say that these words are said in a fit of anger. Whether that's true, we shall see(as shall I)...

Catching my breath

Secret War Journal[29 November 2009]
Wow. It's been a week! Time passes so fast when you're busy!

But wait, wasn't I hardly even going out this week.

I'm so glad I did not went out as often as I planned since I was already this busy without going out for lesure. :p

Really wanted to blog some days back but couldn't find time. (Shows you how busy I was...:p)

Well, today(okay, so it's already late), I decided to take time off and blog! Woots!

Library Trip @ 24 November 2009

This is one of the few days that I went out. Hahas.

Johnston wanted to research on Energy Sources. So we went to Bugis where the great (and large) Nation Library lie.

We went to the Reference Library and this was the first time I came here.

For those who never had the chance to enter, prepare for some surprises, (ignore this text if you don't want me to spoil the fun) for example:
  1. The reference Library is 4 Storeys High! (okay, that's rather duh)
  2. You can only bring in a piece of notebook + pen and/or Laptop
  3. You cannot bring in your other belongings
  4. The reference library is guarded. O.o
  5. It's really quiet in there! You will get glares for talking! So shh!!!...
  6. You get a locker when you have forbidden items with you before entering the library. How cool is that?
BTW, I shall quote the Guard: "If you lose the Locker Key, you will need to pay $15"

We were walking into the Library.
Me: "okay..."
Johnston: "Thanks for telling us?"

In this hard times when cash is precious, it is best that you take extra care not to lose the locker keys. ;)

Well, about the research thingy, we hardly learnt anything. The level of intelligence was something that is currently beyond our understanding. I saw some very complicated equations and more accurate values of the speed of light and Avogadro's Number.

It's information overload! Einstein's everywhere in the books of Physics! Kind of tell you where this all leading to, huh?

After killing our brains reading those thick books, we ended up looking the World Atlas.

After spending roughly one hour reading the Atlas (yes, it's that thick too), we went home...

BUT!

Before that, we went to the normal library that normal human beings venture to check out the huge collection of books available. Surprisingly, I can't the items that I wanted. Wow.

SITEX 2009
Lost a job during this period. Sad. Nevermind. The employer says he would employ me during January. He better keep to his words. :|

Anyway, I still went to SITEX 2009 @ EXPO (TWICE! OMG!...) because we were considering whether we should get a laptop/netbook.

But we did not, in the end, what a perfect waste of my 7 hours. =.=

P.S: We seriously need to upgrade the MRT system. It's freaking overcrowded in there!!!

Saw Dylan today at EXPO! O.o

Before I say goodbye...
What? It's ending already? C'mon, it's late at night already!

Nope, I did not start blogging this late on purpose. I ONLY started blogging after I finished most of my To-do List for today.

Did I mention my stepmother threw away my school shoes already? She acts so fast. I'm starting to get worried of my other shoes, they might just disappear one day!

Lastly, please help me pray that I successfully graduate because I already passed my Secondary 4 books to my cousins (and my stepmother already threw away my school shoes. :p)

With that, this is goodbye. I hope I can blog more (if I have the time, of course).

Can I trust you anymore?
